No comparison electric vs gas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put in a battery and I get it done. I have replaced all of my gas powered equipment and it is the best decision ever. The 60 volt system is great and I have a lawn mower, snow blower, string trimmer, several hedge trimmers, a pole saw and a blower and I never had a problem with any of them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This powerful String Trimmer features a remarkable Head that is easy to load with any size strinn. It features two speed/power settings to be able to handle the lightest everyday jobs, or, swith speeds and mow down a forrest of weeds!

Disappointed with the quality.

The head cover on the spool is weak and breaks quickly. Thus makes the entire trimmer USELESS! This is my second trimmer with the same problem. Greenworks need to really improve the wear parts or make them readily available to buy and replace. The motor is OK - could be stronger as it does not rotate as fast as gas.

Easy to use, light weight, easy start

My only complaint is the size of the grass guard. I get completely covered with grass every time I use the trimmer. Need more protection.

Works Great, Starts Every Time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this in early July 2025. The string trimmer is easy to assemble, directions are clear, and the unit is ergonomic. It starts every time!! (not so with gas-powered trimmers). It cuts very evenly and well, the string is durable and so does not run out very soon, and the "bump" feature to advance more string is very convenient. It's a great garden tool!
I would recommend this to a friend!
