Much better design than previous version of same trimmer. Hopefully, a replacement guard will be part of replacement parts to be available for this model. Previous model/design trimmer's guard broke in half and no way to replace it, which prompted me to buy this new one. Assembly was easy. Works just as good as previous model; however, does seem handle differently (probably just imagination after using previous model for several years). All-in-all happy with product.

Have used this trimmer a few times. The string that came with the tool will not advance while cutting or when tapping it on the ground. My hand is not large enough to squeeze the tabs to open the cover so I have to wait for my son or brother-in-law to come over and take it off. Greenworks should consider women may be using their tools and design accordingly.

The first mower came without hardware for the handle, the mulch plug was missing, one of the two battery ports didn’t work, nor did the headlights. After over an hour on the phone with support, a replacement was on the way. Mower two is fully functional, but the mulch plug is missing (again), and part of the handle assembly is bent (maybe from shipping, but the box doesn’t clearly show damage). Waiting to see how it’ll be handled.
Despite the issues with getting a fully functional/undamaged product, the mower seems great. Built quality looks better than my corded Greenworks mower which served me well for eight years before I sold it in favor of this.

This one replaced the prior model that I used for 5yrs without an issue and every bit as good. Only reason I bought a new one was to pass on the old to a family member. I also own a Greenwork mower that I love. Great products !!!

German works great bum feed I don't like it all doesn't seem to work found myself bumping it by my hand ..... Very annoying never liked the bump feed as for the trimmer itself it works fine
