Long lasting battery that edge and trimmed a 1/4 acre yard with 1/2 battery remaining.
More than enough power for any weeds.

Bump String

I bought this stringer last year and am very dissatisfied with the Bump string advance. From day one the bump never advanced the string, have to take off the top everytime I want to advance string.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design issues

The casing/cover for the wire spool was really hard to get off when I needed more wire. Pushing in the two catches was extremely hard. Now it will not go back on as the two catches will not pop back through the two holes.
Bad design.
Very disappointing as I love my green works mower. But this trimmer was not a good purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really sorry to hear you had trouble. However we are a little confused.
This unit does not have pre-wound replacement spools as it is equipped with our quick load trimmer head. It was designed to be rewound by the user with 0.095" / 0.080" (2.4 mm / 2.0 mm) trimmer line. Nice string trimmer!

I have used this string trimmer several times since the purchase, and I am happy with this tool. The fully charged 2.5Ah battery allows me to do all the trimming and edging around my house without recharging, which is great. Compared with the corded edger I have, this string trimmer way more efficient when it comes to edging. I have not gotten the chance to wire a new string yet; hopefully, it would not be difficult. Overall, the tool does what it promises, and it runs great so far.

We bought this three weeks ago and used it a couple times now and it is perfect. Can cut through knee high grass like nothing and barely use any battery. It’s run time even with the 2.5 ah battery is phenomenal. We have had the 60v 21” push mower with a 4 ah battery for quite some time now, so figured we’d start to add to the collection. Both are amazing products.
