[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved the Greenworks Pro 16in Sting trimmer from try it sampling. I have only used it once so far and I like it for quick jobs. The battery lasts about average so only about half of my yard. It's easy to use and to put together. I do recommend it however.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always used scissors to cut my hedges and cut my grass. The super old fashioned way! I was excited to finally try and easier way. We have grass that goes against a wavy concrete mocurb so it was always really hard to get my scissors to do a nice cut. We also have rocks that grass goes up against. This cut my time in half and it looks flawless! A job that would normally take me an hour only took 20 minutes. It was easy to use for me and the directions are easy to follow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this trimmer, it’s lightweight, but powerful. The high and low speed adjustment is great for edging tall grass its does as great of a job as a heavier trimmer, it cut my yard work time in half. It’s battery operated, easy to use, refreshing to not to drag around an extension cord.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is easy to put the Greenworks Pro 16 in. String Trimmer together. The two pole pieces fit together and then the handle and guard only need to be attached. I fully charged the battery prior to use and it gives about 40 minutes of use per charge. We have recently been blessed with rain and when we get ANY rain, we get a LOT of growth. Even with all the growth, the battery charge lasted the advertised 40 minutes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far one of the most powerful, handy and durable tools ever. I have a huge front and backyard Greenworks Pro 16 in. String Trimmer with 2Ah HC Battery and Charger makes my job super easy and quick. It does the job perfectly and that's exactly what I need.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several greenworks cordless items and have been impressed with them and the string trimmer is another good product. It can be adjusted from a 14" to a 16" cutting diameter to save power and battery life. I trimmed a large area of 18" tall native grasses out to expose bluebonnets coming up and the trimmer cut through it with ease and ran for a steady 45 minutes before needing a recharge. The string feed worked smoothly and adding string to the spool was straightforward and easy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a working wife and mother, I am fully responsible for ensuring that my family, house and cars are well taken care of and properly maintained. During the Summer months when I have to work 12-14 hours a day, I will use a lawn service; but, when Spring arrives and my schedule is not so hectic I love to garden. I recently traded in my old gas trimmer for a 60-volt lithium-ion battery Greenworks string trimmer and while it is lighter and more energy-efficient, it is not easy to reload and use. It is compact, lightweight, and quiet without all the gas fumes I'm used to and started pretty easily with just a simple squeeze of a trigger; but, it does not seem to have as much power and straight edge trimming capability as my old gas-powered trimmer. I also did not like the patented Load N’ Go trimmer head which was not as easy to use as I thought it would be since it was made from die-cast aluminum.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has used other trimmers in the past, but they were quick to fall apart. My son fell in love with this Greenworks String Trimmer last night. There were no gas fumes and the battery lasted about 30 minutes or so. My teen-aged son was really enjoying himself out in the yard. He said it was extremely powerful and we did have ALOT of weeds in the backyard!!! There is a loud "whirl" when trimmer is in action. He enjoyed the ease of use and the lightness of the trimmer as well. This will come in handy when I need to take over the gardening when he's in school!
