[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this last month needed a new one with the warmer weather coming around I have weeds and with weeds I need to cut it does so much better than my last one gets it close cut. Love it easy to put together also.

Solves my cord problem!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many string trimmers and always have the same problem. The cord always come unplugged or gets in the way. Greenworks solved this issue for me with the battery powered trimmer. The battery charges quickly and the trimmer is powerful. It is so easy to use and doesn't weigh as much as the other brands I have used. I am so glad I found this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this for my husband. I am so glad I did. He used it to cut a lot of weeds around our property, and it did a great job. It cut down even some of the thick stalked thistle weed with no problems. It is lighter than a gas powered trimmer and had plenty of power to get the job done. The battery lasted for the entire job, and when we plugged it into the charger, it wasn't completely drained so it did not take long to recharge. I am very pleased with this product. I recommend!

The Greenworks Pro 60 volt trimmer is a fantastic piece to have in your garage. It is powerful, yet quiet and the batter life is unmatched. I was able to trim and edge my yard in half the time (without ear splitting noise too) my old trimmer did. I would highly recommend this to everyone from your first time homeowner to your seasoned landscaping pro.

The power it gives is spot on....so nice to see that battery operated doesn't mean less power. It is easy to get going and fairly light weight, making trimming an easier task to undertake. Battery life is sufficient for me to get the job done every time, no problem. I would highly recommend this Greenworks trimmer.

Due to the maintenance required and the inconvenience of mixing and stirring gas, I decided to give a battery-operated trimmer a try. My decision to try this Greenworks model was the large capacity battery and the 4-year warranty. The small amount of assembly required was simple and straightforward. The trimmer operates as well as any gas-powered unit I've ever owned. I like that it is well balanced with no strain to carry or operate and the spool is simple to reload. Plus, it's quiet to operate which means I can do early morning yard work without annoying my neighbors! I am extremely satisfied with this product and would recommend it to friends.

Works well but heavy

I definitely like not being tied to a cord and operating off battery life that lasts longer than I do. It’s just a bit big and heavy for me (female) so I haven’t lost charge through my use. It is easy, powerful and convenient. Just heavy.

It is a great tool, well balanced and I have no problem doing my entire yard on one charge. I absolutely love the ease of use of this tool and all of the Greenworks line of cordless yard tools.
I t is very convenient to swap batteries from tool to tool. I would not hesitate to purchase Greenworks in the future.
