Great Tool

Bought this trimmer 3 days ago and used it the day after I bought. It was very easy to assemble, wasn't much to assemble. This trimmer is very quite and hardly any vibration. Trimmer cuts the grass with ease and so finished the trimming quickly. Enjoy it MUCH more than the gas trimmer I WAS using. I would recommend this product to ANYONE!!

Glad to have both in my arsenal for keeping my yard clean and tidy.
Only wish there was a body strap cause I'm a weak woman over 65 and tire easily.
Trimmer slices through up to moderately thick weeds n such. Hubby uses the gas power commercial for serious. I love having not worry starts and runs like a dream and ergonomic weighted well for short uses, battery seems to last way longer than me...lol
Would buy again without hesitation. Bought trimmer directly from website easy at good price and shipped fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hedge trimmer is pretty decent. It helps cut the hedges and holds a charge for a long time. The handle assists me for y’all, hard to reach places and the blades are nice and sharp. Awesome addition to my garage.

Awesomely Surprised

I bought this last year because I was tired of my gas trimmers not starting. So I took the chance on a battery operated one and figured if it wasn't good I would return it before the 30 days. Well I was surprised. It had more power than my gas trimmers and had enough run time to do my entire yard front and back twice with some battery life left. So winter came and gone, I wish Covid -19 would have gone as well. So it's April 2020 and I pulled it out yesterday to trim, no issues with the battery and had to fill spool up with new line. Very simple. So if your tired of your gas trimmer I would highly recommend this model trimmer. Plenty of power for trimming and edging, with good amount of battery runtime.

Pretty simple to use

I don't have a large yard so this lasts multiple times with no charge. Having previously always used gas, i can say i dont miss that at all. It is no heavier than a gas one as well.

Works well around rocks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a really nice purchase for the country. The Greenworks Battery Operated String Trimmer means that it can be used anywhere. My Dad can take it anywhere on his property to clear weeds and grass from fence lines, utility poles, BBQ pit and much more. It is not overly heavy at around 10 lbs and very easy to use with just one button. The battery comes with a charger and came partially charged so ready to use. Just snap the battery at the top of the trimmer and it is ready to use. The string was pre-loaded and comes with an extra roll of string. My Dad found it easy to use and it worked quickly and thoroughly around the house. We have a lot of rock for decoration and the string held up around all of them. Definitely recommend.

I was very happy with the results lining my sidewalks and driveway. It also does a really efficient job around my fencing. I would highly recommend this trimmer.

Solid Trimmer! A great gas replacement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I thought when I fired up this trimmer was, wow! Powerful! The 60 volt battery delivers excellent power to the trim head and this trimmer can compete with the best of them. Assembly is fairly easy. Only two parts to attach and I was up and running. Took about 5 minutes to assemble. No tools needed for assembly! The allen wrench needed to attach the blade guard is included in the box. Like other Greenworks products, the battery charger is a bit loud -- this is only because the charger has a fan in it to keep it cool. The trimmer works well, includes extra line, and can operate at variable speeds.
