Bought 2 years ago (July 2021) for the convenience of the universal "attachment-capable" feature -- and along the way acquired Greenworks blower, Ryobi edger, and TrimmerPlus pole saw attachments. All have worked out very well for me and I've recommended it to several friends.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Durable, Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the noise is the first thing you notice. Compared to my gas trimmer this is quiet. My brother in law says: " I have an electric tooth brush that makes more noise" :) Anyway, I enjoy the quiet tool and the 4amphour batter is perfect for my almost 1/2 acre. Would have enjoyed getting a smaller battery but it is not that heavy. I also have the edger attachment and my only issue with that is that changing out the attachments is not as easy as my old gas trimmer. Not impossible just more finicky in my opinion but definitely not a deal breaker.

Trimmer Head wears out too fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bicycle handle trimmer is a great and powerful tool. I would give it five stars, but the problem is that the plastic load n Go trimmer head wears out too fast. Even though I bump and feed the trimmer line on a soft surface or a piece of carpet to avoid it from getting roughed up easily. Yet it still wears out by pretty much disintegrating the plastic cover. I have already gone through two heads and I'm only a residential user for my place only to knock down weeds. Another problem is that the trimmer heads are usually out of stock. Can't understand why. So now I have to wait for I don't know how long, rendering the tool useless. Should be able to use different head parts other than just bump and feed. Manual feed option would be nice also.

All pros would be compared to the previous GEN model. It has a Longer shaft and overall length. It has better balanced with the battery fixated vertically. The easy feed head works by inserting the string through the eyelet and then turn the knob. I manly use the low speed but on high is where it shines on 3 foot wheat growing on my second lot. The 2ah high capacity battery is enough to trim a 500 feet of bedding and concrete. I would recommend the 5ah battery if you are going to clear a full 1/4 acre lot or have a large yard. IMO I prefer the trimmer due to its longer length and easy feed head I'm 6ft on the dot and don't have to stoop over like I did with the previous GEN modle. As for durability it's a solid feeling and for longevity only time will tell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always used scissors to cut my hedges and cut my grass. The super old fashioned way! I was excited to finally try and easier way. We have grass that goes against a wavy concrete mocurb so it was always really hard to get my scissors to do a nice cut. We also have rocks that grass goes up against. This cut my time in half and it looks flawless! A job that would normally take me an hour only took 20 minutes. It was easy to use for me and the directions are easy to follow

Excellent for jobs large and small

We've had this string trimmer for several months and have used it for many jobs. The biggest has been clearing a wetlands area that we didn't want to mow because of some sensitive native plants. It easily mows down tall grasses and more substantial growth. The battery is long-lasting and charges quickly. I'm a 5'4" 50+ woman and found it initially a bit heavy, but after lots of use, it's fine. Building up the arm muscles! The only issue would be the feed on the string. I've never found a string trimmer with a functional feed, so it takes some time to pull the string out when it gets short. This is the only reason for the 4-star rating. Otherwise, this is a fantastic trimmer, and we're really happy with it.
