This tool is longer and a little heavier than expected but has good balance. Probably a better fit for taller folks. I’m excited to use this more and hope it holds up as well as the 60v Greenworks mower we have also.
Great trimmer so far. I didn't have a lot of opportunity to use it but I found it effective, easy to use and powerful. The battery seems to last a long time as well. I used it for 20 minutes straight to trim some small branches and bushes (not grass) and the battery is only down 1 bar. I'm happy with my purchase.
IT’s very quiet, the quietes greenworks tool. Very well balanced. Load N’ Go trimmer head only loads on one side of the thread if you use .090 line I haven’t tried .080. Also it’s kind of awkward to bump more line since you’ll over cut the grass on the spot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Mani,
Thank you for the review! We are happy to see you are enjoying the string trimmer. While the unit is spinning, gently tap the bottom of the unit (knob) on the ground and the string trimmer will release approximately ¼ inch of line each time you tap it. The more often you do this the more line will be released. Hope this helps!
Too heavy and string runs out too quickly. Not good for use as an edger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Wags,
We are terribly sorry to hear about this experience. We strive to provide a quality product and a great customer service encounter. It's normal for the cutting line to wear down as you use it, but the trimmer line can wear faster than you expect if you're cutting tough or thick weeds, if you're cutting against hard surfaces such as rocks and walls, or if the line is spinning too fast. To preserve cutting line when cutting thick weeds or against hard surfaces, don't crowd the trimmer head into the area you're cutting. Instead, slide the cutting head slowly toward the cutting area so you use the tip of the cutting line. And ease off on the throttle to properly control the speed of the cutting head, especially when cutting against hard surfaces. We would be interested in hearing more about this issue. Had trimmer for over 3 months now and it is still much better than my other petrol and battery trimmers. The others have features that are still work keeping them around for (split shaft/telescoping shaft), but for pure trimming this is hard to beat. This thing is powerful and runs forever.
Bought this trimmer as I'm updating all the tools in my garage. I shopped around a lot trying to find the right voltage, since I've only owned gas machines before. I really think the 60 volt is just right. It's powerful enough to do my usual trimming but also doubles up as an edger. I've cleared some brush with it too, no problem. I can't imagine needing anymore power, and mostly use the lower speed on this machine as it is. I did run out of battery power with it a few times, but just popped in one of the other batteries from my other 60 volt tools and kept on going. I own a mower, blower, trimmer, and pressure washer. Since they're all the same voltage (60) I can swap batteries between the tools as needed, making things super convenient. Definitely consider doing the same if you're purchasing more than one tool.
