I've only used it twice but, because I keep being bugged to rate it, okay. So far, so good. If a product could be accurately rated based on only two uses, I'd rate it a 5. If customer support was good, I'd also rate it a 5. But customer support is nearly nonexistent. I've called twice, once for this product (90 minutes on hold for a quick question) and once for another product (60 minutes on hold). To my mind, that doesn't qualify as "customer service".

Very powerful and lasts a lot longer than I thought it would off the 4Ah battery (roughly an hour or two).
It is also sturdy, easy to hold and the strap that comes with it helps balance the weigh nicely.
Definitely would recommend.

Better than I had hoped for

Bought this to replace a previous Greenworks tool (I needed a heavier duty one). Still have my older model, but this thing cleared 2' deep, thick foliage including blackberries. Plenty of power. Took some getting used to to keep from getting the long grasses wound up in the drive motor, but after working with it I figures out that using it correctly it would "unclog" itself. The added shoulder sling made a big difference too. Battery charges rapidly and the fan in the charger cooled the hot battery quickly to make charging easy. Would buy again, but if it lasts like my older Greenworks model, I won't need to. (would like it to be a little longer from the handle to the cutter

Missing Parts

Might be a good tool if all the parts were in the box. Long as I cannot attach the handle this is a 1-star tool.

Trimmer is GOOD,

I have 4 60 volt tools all are viewed favorably - BUT - the string sold by GREENWORKS is less than desirable. I can’t get past a foot of cutting with having to tap for another serving. I’ve tried EVERYthing I could to swap to a better/ generic head for better Stri g and easier re-filling the spool. Even the preloaded spools are a challenge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Maybe my favorite Greenworks Tool ?

This may be the best product in the line-up. I was sold a few years ago on the switch from gas trimmers to battery. You can't beat the reliability and hassle free maintenance. I replaced my less powerful batter with this trimmer and the difference is night and day. I have sections of English Ivy around the outside of my yard which required regular trimming . This thing is always powerful enough and battery life is not an issue. It also edges pretty well. Loading trimmer line is the easiest system I've ever used. If I could only buy one 60V product I'd start here.

Love this tool. It was easy to put together and is easy to use. With 2 charged 4.0 batteries I can mow and trim the whole yard. I’ve already recommended this to my neighbors.
