I purchased a different brand of battery operated weed eater which I could not assemble (even my daughter the wiz failed) so I returned it to the box store. I had 3 gas operated trimmers in the garage which I sold after receiving this wonderful helper, so easy to assemble (I am a 66 year old widow) and operate. I have other battery operated Greenworks tools - Greenworks should have been my first stop!

This trimmer suits my needs well. Plenty of power and being able to use the same batteries as the mower and leaf blower allowed us to save a little money by getting the tool only. I’m glad I got it because I used to skip trimming the lawn because I hated dealing with the gas trimmer. Now, it’s quick and easy!

More than enough power

I wanted to replace my old Battery trimmer and wanted to have all my tools on the Greenworks 60v platform. (One battery to rule them all). This trimmer covered my 1/4 acre+ yard and still had plenty of battery for my Greenworks mower. The easy feed trim head was very easy to load with string. I can’t wait until I get the blower and hedge trimmer to complete my yard work tools.

I bought this 60 V trimmer because my other 60 V trimmer had the plastic head cover break and you Can't get a replacement part at this time. My only option this time of year when I still need to trim every week was to get a new trimmer. It works fine but heavier compared to my original trimmer.
