I bought this after buying the Greenworks 60V mower which is a great tool also. I was replacing a large corded trimmer that I had for years. My yard has sidewalks, trees, flower beds, fences, sheds, etc. so I have lots of trimming to do. I used to take as long to trim the yard as it did to mow the whole thing since I had to move the cord to three different outlets to get to the whole thing. Now I can trim it all I one pass without stopping using just the 2.5Ah battery that came with the trimmer. My mower batteries also fit it and I could use them if I ever needed even more run time. I save close to half the time trimming since I don't have to keep moving the cord from outlet to outlet, moving the cord out of the way as I trim, and unrolling and rolling up and storing the cord. This trimmer works great. The strap transfers the weight, so it is easy to carry, and the design makes it easy to rotate the trimmer 90 degrees so you can edge along sidewalks, curbs and driveways. I'll never go back to corded or gas!

I purchased my 60 volt Greenworks mower three years ago and love it. It mows 4000 sq ft of lawn twice before charging is needed. Last year I purchased the 60 volt Greenworks chainsaw to clear the deadfall from my property in Wyoming. By time the battery needs charging I am ready for a break. Now I bought the string trimmer and it works great! No more loud engines and gasoline fumes.

I bought this combo unit needing the string trimmer. When shopping and comparing I thought, rightly so, the combo was the better deal. WOW, am I ever happy I bought the combo unit as the blower is powerful and I no longer have to drag an extension cord around! I couldn't be happier with the blower. The real star, is the string trimmer. I live on acreage and sometimes have to clear larger areas of thicker weeds, not always grass. This string trimmer is strong, powerful, long lasting and is easy to maintain, i.e. reloading string is a snap with the twisting head and the battery recharges quickly.
I absolutely love both these tools and have been quite satisfied with their performance. I highly recommend them and feel confident if you get one, or both, you will love them as well.

I should have bought this years ago. This trimmer is so much easier to use vs the gas trimmer it replaced. No more pulling the started 50x times to only throw your trimmer in anger. I'm able to run clean lines when edging.
