Trimmer has options to be used as a 14” or a 16” and it shipped in the 14” configuration which seems to work fine. If anything this item outperforms and I probably didn’t need the 16”capability. Functionally you turn over the string cutter on the guard and it has a 1” offset.
I use the 2.5AH Battery that I got with my blower and I can do my entire property on 1/2 a charge. It takes maybe a 1/4 charge for my blower to finish the job.

I was a little worried that I would not be able to tackle both my front and back yard with one 2.0 Ah battery, but it has proven to be more than enough. I can get through all weeds and even clean up the edges of my lawn with this one tool. The battery charges fairly quickly and lasts through everything I need to get done. It’s really quiet and it’s nice to know there’s very little maintenance (just wiping it down after use), and no fuel or pollution to worry about.

Very lightweight and easy to handle. Ergonomically, everything fits as it should. Power and battery duration is good, in line with what I’d expect. My only gripe is the string change. It would be nice to have a included wrench to turn the feed head. Great battery powered trimmer!

I replaced my Troy Bilt 2 cycle trimmer and was skeptical about the power. I decided on it after trying my fathers 60v hedge trimmer which had enough power to trim all if my hedges in one charge.
Needless to say, i was very impressed with the power output which seemed noticeably more than the grass trimmer it replaced. After raving to my wife about the power I then noticed I had it on level 1 not 2. 2 has a lot of power when it’s needed. I leave it in 1 and trim a half acre worth of yard (fence line, edge driveway/walkway) two times on one battery.
I recommend the 60v system and actually just ordered myself the 60v chainsaw after reading reviews. Hope this helps someone make a decision to try these products!
