I like the new battery charger. It is easier to insert and remove the battery. This string trimmer feels heavier than the older model I had. The new metod to feed the string into the trimmer head is great but I have problems with the string release while using it and the quality of the string sucks. It brakes constantly and I have to bump the feeding head every few steps along the grass edge. FYI, I still use the cutting string provided with the new tool. I also have to bump the feeding head 2-4 times to get the string released. The older model released the string after only one bump. It is really frustrating.

Also, avoid cutting directly against hard surfaces like concrete or fencing, as this can cause rapid wear and snapping. When bump feeding, a firm tap on a hard surface (rather than grass) typically provides more consistent line advancement.

13” Trimmer (sold with blower) instructions!

This does work with the 13” 60v trimmer that came with the blower BUT you need a star drive screw driver in the size T20x100. Then remove the two top most screws and remove the plastic housing. This will lets you hold the shaft with pliers and screw on/off the heads.

Great tool except....

Like everything about this tool, except for getting refill whips. It came with a few that worked great, easy to replace, couple minutes and ready to go. But you don't have replacement line and I can't find any that are the same size and type. Why would you not offer replacement whip line?

Solid unit with an Achilles heal.

Solid unit for dry grasses and weeds. Lightweight and quiet with a simple single-piece line feed. One weakness is the spindle-ball or mower ball (metal cap that touches the ground). Wears out much faster than expected. We have rocky soil, so if you do too, have extra parts on hand… if you can find them.
