I am an 88 yr old woman who loves her new brushless 16" trimmer. Went around my big barn in a 1/2 hour! I could never start my gas one-this is so easy and well balanced. I highly recommend this purchase

I previously purchased the 60v mower and blower, which are very good. The 60v trimmer is awful. Awkward to handle, the bump feed almost never works, and I had to restring it every 10 minutes. Extremely dissatisfied with the trimmer, I'm going to just give it away if I can't return it. And why is there no customer service email address on the site?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear that you are not overly satisfied with this string trimmer. For the best control and balance, ensure that you hold the trimmer by both the switch handle and the auxiliary handle. Stand with the cutting head tipped down at an angle in front, guiding the grass trimmer/edger in a semicircular motion around you. If possible, guide the grass trimmer/edger to the left to cut. The line will cut as soon as it leaves the guard, and the clippings are thrown away from you. If the grass trimmer/edger is not cutting correctly, the cutting line may not be feeding properly and it’s possible that the spool just needs to be removed and rewound - this can also affect the balance. We have included two videos below in the hopes they will better improve your experience with the trimmer.

Great trimmer that does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has used other trimmers in the past, but they were quick to fall apart. My son fell in love with this Greenworks String Trimmer last night. There were no gas fumes and the battery lasted about 30 minutes or so. My teen-aged son was really enjoying himself out in the yard. He said it was extremely powerful and we did have ALOT of weeds in the backyard!!! There is a loud "whirl" when trimmer is in action. He enjoyed the ease of use and the lightness of the trimmer as well. This will come in handy when I need to take over the gardening when he's in school!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was so easy to assemble and came complete with a fully charged battery and a battery charger
The tools needed for assembly were included and it was simple and fast to assemble
This worked well on my lawn edges and also on some ground cover that can get out of control if not trimmed back
It is also comparatively quiet when compared to my last one.
I like green work products for their durability and workmanship, they are good value for money, and I have always been satisfied with their products
It was so easy to assemble and came complete with a fully charged battery and a battery charger

String feeder doesn’t work

The unit must be turned on and you will need to tap the bump knob on the ground to release additional line. Trimmer line of about 1/4" will feed out each time you bump the head. As long the mechanics for the line release are understood and exercise you should have no issues releasing line. We hope this information has been helpful. Peace and quiet...

If I managed a vacation destination, I would have all of my maintenance done with greenworks tools. I spent a week at the beach and every...single...day we listened to the drone of weed eaters, edgers and blowers. I got home yesterday and fired up my greenworks trimmer to start my spring cleaning in the yard and was reminded of how quiet this stuff is. I spent a couple of hours trimming, edging and blowing around the yard and my family can talk to me while I work!
