Lightweight, green and gets the job done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer went above and beyond my expectations. Having used only gas-powered trimmers in the past, I admittedly had some doubts about how this electric trimmer would work in comparison. However, I am extremely happy with the results! Not only did it leave my lawn looking as good (if not better) when trimming overgrowth with my former gas-powered trimmer, it is much more lighter in weight, quieter, and had a lower vibration which made it easier to use and handle. It felt sturdy, durable and well-balanced as compared to the engine heaviness experienced with my gas-powered trimmer. The 60V battery charged quickly and lasted the entire time (about 45 minutes) that it was in use, with no compensation in the power throughout the duration. I appreciated the tapping function to extend the line as well as it allowed me to continue trimming without interruption. Highly recommended, especially for those looking for a greener, lighter weight option!

The two batteries that it comes with make it even better. No need to stop a job every few minutes like most trimmers. It's not that important but I love the color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming out of the box, it was easy to assemble. The battery is large, and a little bulky but that is to be expected with the voltage it has.
It is fairly lightweight, and was easy to position the handle so that the weight of the two ends balance each other nicely.
Using it in the yard, it has a similar performance as a corded, but does not seem as powerful as a gas powered - this may be simply because a gas powered accepts larger cutting twines. That being said, I was impressed by its abilities and convenience.
A couple criticisms: the shaft is a bit loose, and doesn’t feel as secure as other machines I’ve used. Also, when charging, the fan for the battery is pretty noisy, so maybe don’t charge it in the living room while watching tv like I did. ;)
Overall, a great machine that does the job it is meant to do!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Light Weight, Easy to Use

Trimmer is light weight and the battery charge lasts enough time to trim the front and back yard. Now we can use our trimmer without affecting the environment, save money, and have a quieter experience for those early weekend mornings tending to the yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Greenworks Pro 16 in. String Trimmer with 2Ah HC Battery and Charger really exceeded my expectations of a string trimmer. It runs on a rechargable battery and it charges quite fast. The trimmer holds a long charge. The trimmer itself is a little heavy but it isn't uncomfortable to handle. The head of the trimmer could had been closer to the ground. But It is a very good trimmer still.

The Greenworks Pro 60 volt trimmer is a fantastic piece to have in your garage. It is powerful, yet quiet and the batter life is unmatched. I was able to trim and edge my yard in half the time (without ear splitting noise too) my old trimmer did. I would highly recommend this to everyone from your first time homeowner to your seasoned landscaping pro.

It also comes with a lithium ion charger and charges up in 30 minutes. After charging it last for up to 45 minutes. Which is amazing! It’s lightweight and I think a brilliant design.

It is a great tool, well balanced and I have no problem doing my entire yard on one charge. I absolutely love the ease of use of this tool and all of the Greenworks line of cordless yard tools.
I t is very convenient to swap batteries from tool to tool. I would not hesitate to purchase Greenworks in the future.
