Machine says "attachment capable" on it. But lo & behold now green works tells me its not attachment capable. Will go into trash and will buy a different brand...

Hello stbob,
Thank you for your review. We wish that you would have contacted us using the number or email address that can be found in your owner's manual, on the string trimmer and in a few other places that are available to our customers. If you received model (2122802) this unit is not attachment capable however if you received model (2121002) it is attachment capable design accepts attachments from multiple brands. Unfortunately, we do not recommend using brush cutters blades on our units. However, as this model (model 2121002) is attachment-capable, you can purchase a lower brush cutter attachment from another brand such as Ryobi, Poulan Pro, or TrimmerPlus! We'd appreciate the opportunity to look further into your claims and see how we may help. Please contact the Greenworks customer care team at 1-888-909-6757 and we would be glad to further discuss.

Might be a good tool if all the parts were in the box. Long as I cannot attach the handle this is a 1-star tool.

Love the heavy duty look and feel of the head on this trimmer. I'm able to complete my trimming on my yard with one charge of supplied 2.5 amp battery. The provided shoulder strap is a BACK SAVER for my old self. Battery recharges quicker than advertised.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than Gas

Works just like a gas trimmer. Just as powerful but far quieter. No fussing with spilled fuel. The 60v battery makes the top end a rad heavier but it well balanced.

Love this weed eater. It is nearly weightless compared to any other weed eater I have ever used. That is probably the best selling point for me. No back-breaking work to trim up the yard now. Just casual walking around the yard and cutting. It cuts great, and it is also very quiet. Plus, there is no yank, cuss, and repeat to get it started. You just squeeze the trigger and it runs. Why didn't we think of this sooner?
