This thing is really nice. I have never used one so powerful. It even takes out the giant ragweed no problem. I use it with the 8ah batteries that came with my Crossoverz and the strap makes it feel light.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I hoped it would cut the fields I have to clear once a year, but was doubtful. I have attached pictures of one location I was clearing that shows what I have done versus what was left to do. You can see from the photos that this Trimmer can cut through the high and thick growth.

I previously purchased the 60v mower and blower, which are very good. The 60v trimmer is awful. Awkward to handle, the bump feed almost never works, and I had to restring it every 10 minutes. Extremely dissatisfied with the trimmer, I'm going to just give it away if I can't return it. And why is there no customer service email address on the site?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear that you are not overly satisfied with this string trimmer. For the best control and balance, ensure that you hold the trimmer by both the switch handle and the auxiliary handle. Stand with the cutting head tipped down at an angle in front, guiding the grass trimmer/edger in a semicircular motion around you. If possible, guide the grass trimmer/edger to the left to cut. The line will cut as soon as it leaves the guard, and the clippings are thrown away from you. If the grass trimmer/edger is not cutting correctly, the cutting line may not be feeding properly and it’s possible that the spool just needs to be removed and rewound - this can also affect the balance. We have included two videos below in the hopes they will better improve your experience with the trimmer.

Solid Trimmer! A great gas replacement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I thought when I fired up this trimmer was, wow! Powerful! The 60 volt battery delivers excellent power to the trim head and this trimmer can compete with the best of them. Assembly is fairly easy. Only two parts to attach and I was up and running. Took about 5 minutes to assemble. No tools needed for assembly! The allen wrench needed to attach the blade guard is included in the box. Like other Greenworks products, the battery charger is a bit loud -- this is only because the charger has a fan in it to keep it cool. The trimmer works well, includes extra line, and can operate at variable speeds.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best trimmer I’ve EVER owned!

Just bought this a week ago, and have put in about 2 hours of work with this trimmer. I am extremely happy with this product. It’s very balanced and ergonomic, it’s incredibly quiet, and extremely easy to use. I won’t use any other brand for my outdoor tool needs

Won't Feed The Line. Useless.

After years of owning corded units, I decided to go with the convenience of a cordless product. Having read many reviews it appeared that the Greenworks 60V Pro was the trimmer of choice. BIG MISTAKE! It has never gone more than 10 to 15 feet without jamming or failing to feed line. Even though I have extensive time with trimmers I re-read the manual, reviewed videos online, etc. to ensure I was correctly winding the spool, it always jammed. A wasted purchase for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Maybe my favorite Greenworks Tool ?

This may be the best product in the line-up. I was sold a few years ago on the switch from gas trimmers to battery. You can't beat the reliability and hassle free maintenance. I replaced my less powerful batter with this trimmer and the difference is night and day. I have sections of English Ivy around the outside of my yard which required regular trimming . This thing is always powerful enough and battery life is not an issue. It also edges pretty well. Loading trimmer line is the easiest system I've ever used. If I could only buy one 60V product I'd start here.
