Replaced an old Husqevarna trimmer with the Greenworks. The old trimmer wouldn’t last long enough to finish the yard without a second charge. Granted the task was too large for one battery, we live on 11 acres and I use the trimmer along the road easement along the front of the property. Using the Greenworks if I have a large job I now have multiple batteries from the various tools in my collection. It’s worth finding a brand and voltage of a battery system to invest in so everything can use the same batteries. I now have a trimmer, edger, chainsaw, pole saw, power inverter, work light, and a mini bike that all work on the same battery system.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful
The blower works great. The weed trimmer has constant issue running out of string. I have to stop constantly and restring it. Yes, I read a followed the instructions. Best case has been to stop every 4 feet and bang the string head hard. Nos sure how long it will last. Yes, I’ve measured out 12 ft and tried 3 sizes of string. Thanks

Hello SRSAurora,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the line feeding. Often when the trimmer line will not advance, it is due to one of the following possibilities. 1. The motor shaft or trimmer head is bound with grass -> Stop the trimmer, unplug the trimmer, and remove the grass. 2. Spool is dirty. 3. Line is tangled in the spool -> Unplug the trimmer, remove the line from the spool, and rewind. We hope this helps! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bicycle handle trimmer is a great and powerful tool. I would give it five stars, but the problem is that the plastic load n Go trimmer head wears out too fast. Even though I bump and feed the trimmer line on a soft surface or a piece of carpet to avoid it from getting roughed up easily. Yet it still wears out by pretty much disintegrating the plastic cover. I have already gone through two heads and I'm only a residential user for my place only to knock down weeds. Another problem is that the trimmer heads are usually out of stock. Can't understand why. So now I have to wait for I don't know how long, rendering the tool useless. Should be able to use different head parts other than just bump and feed. Manual feed option would be nice also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to hold and has a lot of power. Love that it's in my battery eco system with my Greenworks mower and blower. Way more powerful than my old Ryobi stringer that I had to have on the high power option. With this I can leave the switch on lower power and cover most of my needs and only kick it up to higher power for any deep grass I run into. It's also more comfortable to hold than other trimmers I've used in the past.
Only reason I did 4 stars and not 5 is the trimmer string provided is only heavy duty enough when in low power mode. When I switch it to high power it spins so fast the line breaks and I have to take it all out and restring. I will buy thicker string to use from here on out and expect I'll have no issues with that anymore.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the noise is the first thing you notice. Compared to my gas trimmer this is quiet. My brother in law says: " I have an electric tooth brush that makes more noise" :) Anyway, I enjoy the quiet tool and the 4amphour batter is perfect for my almost 1/2 acre. Would have enjoyed getting a smaller battery but it is not that heavy. I also have the edger attachment and my only issue with that is that changing out the attachments is not as easy as my old gas trimmer. Not impossible just more finicky in my opinion but definitely not a deal breaker.
