I wouldn't buy this again.

I was given this as a gift. Used it twice and its broken. I went to empty the canister and the unlock button broke! Called customer service to figure out how to order new and was told I had to order a brand new machine!

Affordable Cleaning Solution With Quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, the PowerSpeed Turbo Pet Cord Rewind Upright Vacuum is a decent solution for home cleaning, but some design quirks left me scratching my head. This vacuum cleaner faces the same challenges of any other model or brand that uses a dry bag or paper filter. Once the pores of the aforementioned filter begin to clog you lose airflow, and thereby, your cleaning ability. This is why the decision to include a "more suction" or "less suction" adjustment left me scratching my head. Why would anyone ever want less suction and thereby less cleaning power? Speaking of the auction adjustment, this vacuum is like many others in its class, in that, it has a detachable wand for non-floor cleaning. Head scratcher #2 is that fact that this wand has no locking mechanism to keep it attached to the main hose. It simply slides down onto the receiving end, which is easily dislodged during normal floor cleaning. I had to reattach the wand several times during my first use of the vacuum due to this reoccurring. This is a major oversight in my opinion. The attached pet tool works well, as does the dirt collection chamber and retractable cord, all of which are positives for this model. The positives don't outweigh the negatives for me unfortunately. The lack of a locking mechanism on the wand is a deal breaker and a constant annoyance.

Lightweight powerful little guy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Eureka PowerSpeed Upright Vacuum to try out and I absolutely love it! Before this vaccuum I had a stick cordless vacuum that wasn't half as powerful as this vacuum l! The Eureka PowerSpeed Upright Vacuum is super light and easy to use, the suction is incredibly strong and gets all of my pets hair off of the floor and carpets! I like to use the powder to freshen carpets and this vacuum actually gets it all up with one pass over it's amazing. All of its attachments fit on the vacuum itself which is great so nothing gets lost! Another great feature is the floor settings which help get through carpets or hard floors. It's an amazing vacuum that i would recommend to everyone actually showed my mother in law its greatness and she went out and purchased last night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This vacuum repeatedly gets clogged at the suction port.Very difficult to clear that port. Very disappointed with this vacuum! Dislike needing to repeatedly change the type of floor that is being cleaned by rotation of the hand switch.

The Best Pet Vacuum

This vacuum picked up the smallest unseen hair on my carpet.. I was kind of embarrassed when I vacuum to see sooo much dust in my carpet and cat hair!! This bac gets it all and it's powerful. I love that I can press the button and the cord wraps up by itself ! It makes cleaning up supper easy! And the cord is long! I love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a house cleaner and I go threw vacuums. I was recently using a shark till I got the power speed. I must say it is a very nice vacuum. The things I like is it is very easy to put together, not heavy, comes with attachments, has height adjustment, easy to empty, dirt canister holds a lot, and the cord is a good length. I have used this vacuum multiple times a day for two weeks and have had no issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited about this vacuum until I tried it. It does an ok job, but it's not the most powerful one out there. The retractable cord kept getting super tangled inside so while I was thinking that was going to be the best feature, it was subpar. We are neat freaks in my house so our standards are very high when it comes to these kinds of products. It did an ok job of cleaning up, but not anywhere near as good as our other name brand vacuum. Maybe better for an apartment or smaller living area.

I am so happy I found this vacuum. All the vacuums I looked at swivel/rotate. This one doesn't. I have pain in my hands and wrists and with a swivel vacuum it makes it so much worse. Eureka, please continue to make a vacuum that doesn't swivel!! I have a dog who drops a lot of hair and this works great!! With the light, I was able to see a lot of hair under the dining table that I hadn't seen before. It's also very light and easy to carry. Thank you Eureka!!!
