I had very high hopes for this little portable unit and bought it for the ability to use this all year round as both an AC and a heater. I live in the Mojave Desert of Southern California and it gets HOT. While sitting in front of it, the AC blows ice cold air, but it unfortunately didn't cool my room, which is half of what it's supposed to be able to cool. It didn't get it below 80 even though I had it at its lowest possible setting (I wasn't expecting it to lower the room to 62). The only time it got pretty chilly was at night when the temp outside dropped drastically. I think this unit is probably amazing for someone who doesn't live in such a hot climate. It just couldn't keep up with the heat outside. Other than that, the appearance is very sleek and looks well made. I was very pleased with the little space it needed and while it wasn't super quiet, it was a lot quieter than other AC's I've owned.

Great System for Summer and Winter

I do alot of work in my un air-conditioned garage, and I needed something that would heat and cool with out having to cut a large hole in the wall for a window unit or install central air. I have had this for about a year and I cannot say anything bad. It has all the accessories with it so you can vent it through a window, or a wall through a small cutout. This is a big unit and it did a good job cooling and heating my uninsulated garage. Now you cannot expect this thing to keep it at 59 degrees in 100 degree weather, but it does a darn good job. The heater does a very good job for being a heat pump.
It has held up through painting, saw dust and general abuse, but has not given me any issues.
The best thing about it is the condensation goes into a little jug instead of the garage floor.
I would recommend this to anyone as long as they understand this is portable, and only works as well as your environment. If you had this in an insulated room it will freeze you out

I must say the unit is very slick and modern looking. I can’t give a very detailed review on it yet because we live in Michigan and the A/C side of it we haven’t used, however the heater side we have used and I don’t like the way it acts when it reached the set point instead of just shutting down it switched to blowing cold air and the process starts all over again blowing warm air to bring it back to the temp you set it at. It seams like a lot on unnecessary useage of energy.

Nice Size

Love the machine, easy instal and use. Fits anywhere and easy to move if you need to.
The direction manual could be written clearer. If you follow the manual it doesn't separate using the system for heat or air conditioning...which it should. I loaded the water container and the machine kept shutting off when it reached 40 degrees. When in fact you don't want to fill the water basin for heat. The document does NOT mention that.
The unit itself though was a great buy and the install super easy. I'd definitely recommend it.

Blows air and that’s about it

We used in our bedroom and have found it to be nothing more than a glorified super loud fan. The room which isn’t large never cooled down below 79. Complete waste of money
