Ease of Use and Effectiveness

Was delivered faster than promised and performs as good or better than specified. I am cooling a 400 sq ft garage (partially insulated) to make it a tolerable gym. Where I am living, our temps are ranging from 85 to 106 at this point in the season. I set the unit to start cooling two hours before I get home and it is MUCH more tolerable now. Highly recommend this unit. Easy to setup and use. Very comprehensive controls and instructions.

Easy set up, high quality portable ac

I started shopping for a 14,000 btu portable ac
And came across the newair and chose it because it had the highest actual btu rating and great quality reviews and couldn’t be happier. Was easy set up and Runs quiet and cools my room in 10-15 minutes. I would recommend this ac and any of the Newair products

This product is fantastic, and the ability to use it as both a cooling unit and a heater makes it even more valuable. Installation was quick, and it cooled the room in no time. I recommend ensuring proper installation and monitoring the water tank. It's especially useful now with the changing weather.

First Impressions of NewAir Portable Air Condition

I purchased this unit in September, but did not install it since my old Soleus Air unit continued to function. I installed the new unit after the old unit quit a couple of days ago. The new unit would not heat and is being replaced. My interaction with customer service via chat was nothing short of excellent. After diagnosing the issue, a decision to send a replacement under warranty was made without hesitation. I am appreciative and believe that the NewAir Portable Air Conditioner and Heater, 14,000 BTUs (8,600 BTU, DOE), Cools 525 sq. ft. is a quality product and will satisfy my needs for years to come.

I bought this about two months ago and it's been doing a great job cooling my room, I actually use it to help my main AC and I got the results I expected, the only problem I had with it is about two weeks ago, it started to expel a really bad odor that I had to shut it off because it was unbearable; after 24 hours I turned it back on and it was back to normal, have no idea what went wrong there, otherwise, it's doing what it's supposed to do. Can't wait to see how it does as a heater.
