They are great to work with!

We received this unit to use in our 5th wheel trailer where my husband works from home on occasion. It get's too cold in our area and the trailer isn't insulated enough to let the heater work. But as a Ac unit it has worked pretty well! It takes the edge off and makes it bearable to work out there without dying. It is a bit on the loud side and it is a bit bulky. I like the remote option but the numbers on did seem to fade and it's hard to see them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used this unit to cool my bedroom and living room after hurricane Ida. I was on generator power for 3 weeks it was easy to set up and move around when needed. I plan to purchase another unit for my hunting and fishing camp.

Newair shipped the portable AC super fast! The unit was incredibly easy to install, even with an unconventionally sized window. It cooled off our entire apartment within the hour and we couldn't be happier with the product!

Buy the warranty

After less than 10 uses, the unit would only cool for a minute or two after turning on and then only the fan would run and blow hot air from outside into the room, making it hotter than before. Customer service was helpful in determining the unit was defective, but we did not purchase a warranty so the best they could do was 30% off a new unit. Annoying but understandable I suppose. Judging by a few other comments, they also had an issue but had the warranty and received new units. Seems like the warranty is a good purchase, as the unit was great the few times it did work properly for me. 3 stars for the way it ran beforehand and the good customer service, just wish it would've lasted at all for me and seemingly a few others.

I have purchased a few of these over the years . When they work they do a pretty good job . I have 2 that went bad and stopped cooling and the digital read out went out . And they do make a noise like the ball bearings in the fan motor needs grease . If not for that I would give them a 5 .

This unit was a gift to me, I appreciate it so much. Live in Florida and really need it. Unfortunately the sensor light came on as soon as I hooked it up, customer service has been wonderful helping me!
