It came well packaged & was pretty easy to install. Hubby was very pleased with it.
It’s portable. So can be moved from room to room which I most certainly love and it also comes with a remote control. I love the fact that the in built thermostat regulates the temperature and the sleep mode helps conserve energy in our living space.

Workhorse - Portable - Effective

I bought this unit for my 2-car garage size work shop. It did a great job at keeping the shop cool in the summer and warm during the colder days. One nice feature is it's ability to control the moisture with it's de-humidifier. That prevented rust from forming on my machines when the garage doors would get opened during summers days. A great unit for the price and even better results!

I use this New Air A/C unit in an upstairs bedroom because it's always hot there. This units cools my whole bedroom. It doesn't take up much room. Easy to hook up & works great. There is very little maintenance is required. I love the remote it is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cold air comes out, but didn't cool the room

I had very high hopes for this little portable unit and bought it for the ability to use this all year round as both an AC and a heater. I live in the Mojave Desert of Southern California and it gets HOT. While sitting in front of it, the AC blows ice cold air, but it unfortunately didn't cool my room, which is half of what it's supposed to be able to cool. It didn't get it below 80 even though I had it at its lowest possible setting (I wasn't expecting it to lower the room to 62). The only time it got pretty chilly was at night when the temp outside dropped drastically. I think this unit is probably amazing for someone who doesn't live in such a hot climate. It just couldn't keep up with the heat outside. Other than that, the appearance is very sleek and looks well made. I was very pleased with the little space it needed and while it wasn't super quiet, it was a lot quieter than other AC's I've owned.

Portable AC

I bought the new air portable ac/heater last spring and used it all thru last summer...the one unit was ample to keep my entire condo super cool and its wonderful size had made it easy to store when not in use!!! Love it and would highly recommend this brand to anyone!! I'm a HAPPY customer!!

I bought my air conditioner around 2015 and it works very well. I use this in my bedroom instead of our central air conditioning because it is not so powerful in there. Keeps the room nice and cool. Customer service is also very good. My remote stopped working. Since I have it a long time, the replacement costs $5.00. If I ever have to replace it, I would consider getting another NewAir.
I would recommend this to a friend!
