I must say the unit is very slick and modern looking. I can’t give a very detailed review on it yet because we live in Michigan and the A/C side of it we haven’t used, however the heater side we have used and I don’t like the way it acts when it reached the set point instead of just shutting down it switched to blowing cold air and the process starts all over again blowing warm air to bring it back to the temp you set it at. It seams like a lot on unnecessary useage of energy.

It did what it said and so far cools nice. Will test heater later. I am very happy. The remote and controls all use symbols so I had to keep looking in book. Now I am starting to remember.

Used our portable AC unit today for a family gathering and it worked amazing! We enjoyed ourselves and most importantly kept us all cool & fresh on a very hot day. Highly recommended. Definitely a must have in every home.

The Perfect way to Achieve year round comfort!

This portable air conditioner and heater does it all. I'm so glad I will be able to have year-round comfort in my home. Our basement is finished but unfortunately, no vents were put in place to help keep the basement comfortable. Never mind the humidity level. In comes this portable unit! It takes care of everything necessary to keep that area cool, warm, or dehumidified! Best of all it brings the quality I love of any newair product!

Great Portable Unit

I was very happy with this unit when it arrived . It was easy to install . Saved me having to cut hole in wall with another air conditioner . Just waiting for winter now to try the heating feature .

I had very high hopes for this little portable unit and bought it for the ability to use this all year round as both an AC and a heater. I live in the Mojave Desert of Southern California and it gets HOT. While sitting in front of it, the AC blows ice cold air, but it unfortunately didn't cool my room, which is half of what it's supposed to be able to cool. It didn't get it below 80 even though I had it at its lowest possible setting (I wasn't expecting it to lower the room to 62). The only time it got pretty chilly was at night when the temp outside dropped drastically. I think this unit is probably amazing for someone who doesn't live in such a hot climate. It just couldn't keep up with the heat outside. Other than that, the appearance is very sleek and looks well made. I was very pleased with the little space it needed and while it wasn't super quiet, it was a lot quieter than other AC's I've owned.

We have set this up in our nursery for our new baby so we can keep the temperature in the appropriate range for her to sleep and it definitely does the job well! Window set up was pretty easy as well, even for a sliding window.
