I've had this for maybe 3-4 years, often running daily, and it has held up like a champ. I needed it to keep a certain room of the house precise temperature vs the rest of my family. It is incredibly difficult to find one that both heats and cools but this one does so effortlessly and was the best price I could find on this BTU size range. Great range on the remote, and filters are super easy to remove to clean and reuse. The fan on high speed is very powerful and lets out quite the blast! I usually only need low speed but it's great to see how powerful it is and all the features and functions left me quite impressed. Customer service is incredible and answers any questions very quickly! Fantastic experience with this company. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

I use my NewAir to save money. Instead of cooling (or heating) the whole house to my desired temperature I run my NewAir in my bedroom (includes TV & stereo system) where I spend most of my time. I set my desired temperature on NewAir, keep bedroom door closed and set the house's thermostat at a much cheaper temperature setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buy it! You will love it!

We use this at our 1,200 sq foot cabin and it was able to cool the cabin significantly in 100 degree heat last week. I was able to test the heat capability in early spring and this thing kicks out a large amount of heat. It will work great this winter when we need to heat the cabin from 50 to 70 when we first arrive. I highly recommend to anyone looking to cool or heat a good size area.

GREAT HARD WORKING MACHINE

I bought the NewAir Portable Air Conditioner and Heater, to cool and heat my garage turned office. It does a great job of maintaining the temp. I have a ton of computer equipment that I need to keep at a stable temp, and this machine does amazingly well. The customer service is amazing too, very quick to respond with any questions or issues.

Was delivered faster than promised and performs as good or better than specified.
I am cooling a 400 sq ft garage (partially insulated) to make it a tolerable gym. Where I am living, our temps are ranging from 85 to 106 at this point in the season. I set the unit to start cooling two hours before I get home and it is MUCH more tolerable now.
Highly recommend this unit. Easy to setup and use. Very comprehensive controls and instructions.

I purchased this unit 5-6 years ago for my husband to use in his garage/workshop area. We live in Texas, and it is needed in summer heat and also in the cold of our winters. This has been a great purchase. It is set up well and is easy to regulate and use. We have had no problems with the unit. We had to replace the accordian type exhaust vent hose this year because the old one had become brittle, but that is to be expected. Would recommend!
