Great product for both heating and cooling!

This system is great for both heating and cool but I have mostly used it for the heating! I am currently heating my living room, dining room and kitchen and within an hour it is quite warm in all three areas! I've only used the a/c for one warm afternoon we had and it cooled down quickly!! I have to make sure to connect the drain tube as the water drain tank fills up very fast! I only get about 8 hours of run time before having to drain it but not a big issue once the drain tube is connected. Over all I am very satisfied with my purchase as this unit is doing what I ask of it!!

So far we've only used the AC portion of this unit. We have it in an upstairs attic bedroom of an old house that doesn't get much of the central AC due to only one vent. This unit was well packaged when it arrived and was easy to install, but is pretty heavy.
Pros: Accurate Temperature Controls, Cools the Whole Room, Easy Window Installation, Even Air Distribution
Cons: Difficult to Move

We use this at our 1,200 sq foot cabin and it was able to cool the cabin significantly in 100 degree heat last week. I was able to test the heat capability in early spring and this thing kicks out a large amount of heat. It will work great this winter when we need to heat the cabin from 50 to 70 when we first arrive. I highly recommend to anyone looking to cool or heat a good size area.

I have owned this for almost 4 months now so it is time to give a review. The NewAir AC-14100H does a great job cooling our large bedroom, which is about 400 sq ft. It is quiter than a window unit but still makes some noise. Upkeep is easy. Add some water to it if you want it to cool more effeciently. A remote would be a nice addition. Also, one end of the hose needs to be a quick disconnect so it can be moved to different areas of the house easier. Making it screw into each end was not a good design. Other than that, this unit is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set it and forget it

I bought this for an add-on room that was fairly decent size. The unit that came with the house was only A/C and didn't do the job well. We've moved from that unit to using the newer 14100H unit from NewAir exclusively.
The heating option for the NewAir unit is the draw. After an initial (nearly 24 hours) warming up period, the unit has maintained a comfortable living area and we're quite pleased. It was easy to set up, install and set temps for the comfort zone we're looking for.
The only reason this is not a 5-star rating is the noise - it's a loud unit and can be a little overwhelming in a closed in area.

Great AC unit!

I bought this AC unit for a custom build, from an enclosed car hauler trailer to an RV travel trailer with all the bells and whistles. Here are some of the photos of the build, and the AC unit sucks the hot air from the top of the ceilings, down the unit from a special enclosed ducting system that draws the air through and to the AC. I have tested the system under very hash hot weather, it was 115 outside and it kept the inside down to a very comfortable 80 with the window open, I'm impressed with it, and it a great addition to the custom build.

A portable heat pump that works for the small shop

I installed this unit in my shop where my 3d printer requires a controlled environment...it's easy to set it...and forget it.
It does move the air around and thats a good thing...I was worried about having to buy additional fans to move the air, but with this unit...no need. However, that does mean it puts out some noise. No more than you'd expect given it's performance.
Solid construction, feels strong, not cheap. Easy to move around (on wheels).
