Best in it's class that I have tried!

I have used this model in my garage since I had it built and although it won't cool a 1500 sq ft building down to 75 degrees, it certainly is enough to take the edge off in those hot Florida summer days. Which is all I want from it. I have tried some other brands, and they just didn't push enough air, or the "cold" air coming out just wasn't really COLD. No, they won't last forever, but when one goes bad, normally because of fan noise building up, I just buy another of the same make and model, and that will do me just fine.

Great product for both heating and cooling!

This system is great for both heating and cool but I have mostly used it for the heating! I am currently heating my living room, dining room and kitchen and within an hour it is quite warm in all three areas! I've only used the a/c for one warm afternoon we had and it cooled down quickly!! I have to make sure to connect the drain tube as the water drain tank fills up very fast! I only get about 8 hours of run time before having to drain it but not a big issue once the drain tube is connected. Over all I am very satisfied with my purchase as this unit is doing what I ask of it!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned this air conditioner for several years and it had flashed an error code. Customer service was friendly and easy to deal with and sent me the parts to fix it. The parts were affordable and the person I spoke to was great!

It’s a great product !! I highly recommend but There is a window minimum. Like ours we now have to saw off part of the window Kit so that it will work

Set it and forget it

I bought this for an add-on room that was fairly decent size. The unit that came with the house was only A/C and didn't do the job well. We've moved from that unit to using the newer 14100H unit from NewAir exclusively.
The heating option for the NewAir unit is the draw. After an initial (nearly 24 hours) warming up period, the unit has maintained a comfortable living area and we're quite pleased. It was easy to set up, install and set temps for the comfort zone we're looking for.
The only reason this is not a 5-star rating is the noise - it's a loud unit and can be a little overwhelming in a closed in area.

The newair ac14100h is a decent ac. It blows cold air and is pretty quiet. It is very compact and easy to set up. What I don't like about is that the water from the humidity builds up fast and has to be emptied and without the water tank it shuts down. I have to exchange my unit which is covered under warranty. The customer service is excellent. The best I've ever encountered in a company. Every customer service agent is very helpful and will go out of their way to help you out. Thanks
