Both Chromebooks were purchased for my granddaughters for Christmas. They were SO excited! I had a Chromebook previously that was handed down to me and I loved it, and ended up letting my youngest granddaughter try it out. Before I knew it, she had deleted things that she shouldn't have because she didn't know what they were for. 😵💫 Anyway, older now and knows better, and is proud to be trusted with a brand new one - that I keep a close eye on. Right now, she and her sister are beyond thrilled!!

ok, would not personally purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small but wish the screen was able to lock into place. portable and good battery life, slow compared to other computers. more so of a tablet than a laptop as you can play SOME games on it but not any sort of pc gaming level accepted, some app store games do not work well either.

Internet security or antivirus software is integrated, no need to purchase the software or application separately. Besides being a low-cost and lightweight laptop, it supports thousands of popular computing applications, both in Chrome and Android, and Linux applications as well. Since it is a web-based OS it does require a Google or Gmail account and an internet connection to use or operate it properly. If this is your first experience with a Chromebook, I recommend using the HELP file incorporated within the OS. To access HELP, please click your profile picture on the Notification Bar, located on the lower right-hand corner of the Home screen then click the question mark icon or widget. Great little Chromebook that does everything I was looking for with the perfect form factor. I love that the keyboard is detachable which makes it perfect for watching videos anywhere. Super easy to setup & syncs perfectly with my phone.
