I have used a Windows tablet, iPad, and Android tablet. I am not making the transition to a Chromebook. I tried to use a Chromebook a couple of years ago but the apps I needed were not available. Now I am able to upload all my apps and web versions of my apps and I am loving the speed and long battery life as well as the quick boot-up of the Chrome OS. The Asus detachable is the perfect replacement for an iPad. I can use it for productivity or hold the tablet while giving a presentation or speaking. The build on this Chromebook appears to be solid. The keyboard is responsive and the case is like a Surface Tab. The only challenge I had was finding an email program to use instead of Outlook. Outlook 365 online using Chromebook limits you to one email address. Outlook light is not really user friendly. I finally settled on the Open Source Thunderbird email program. It is quick, easy, and offers a combined inbox for all my email addresses, including my Microsoft 365 addresses.

I purchased this Chromebook for school and personal use. It comes in very handy as it easy to transport. It doubles as a tablet although it’s kinda heavy to use as a tablet. It has great picture quality and it’s fast at loading. I needed something that had a lot of storage space and was fast.

Still very new, but so far, i like it. Great battery life. Preforms all the expected functions (and i am sure i havent found them all yet). Fairly inuitive to use. It even takes my old school mouse! (With an adapter) size and weight make it very portable. Some tablets used as a notebook computer seem to struggle to do much. Not this one. It seems very full function. Slight cons: the keyboard is a bit smaller than a full size. Takes a little getting used to. Wifi was a little hard to set up, but eventually got it.

Less than 2 weeks of having it the stylus stopped working. The only option was to send the whole computer in for them to look at it. I have school and work on the computer. Very dissatisfied

I love my Chromebook. I hate how easily someone else can try to cast to my laptop. I don't want to permanently disable it, but that seems like the only option. Please tell me there is another solution...
