I had one of these for about 10 years ago and loved it. Anyway. I bought a new one. The 3 jaw chuck is a great standard feature. Still love it. And my dremel flex extension makes so much easier on my arthritis. Very powerful and fun to use. I recommend it to any hobbyist.

So far great tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We obviously haven’t used it a whole lot but we used it to sand down the fine details on some wooden knife handles we made which worked like a dream!!
It was originally bought to do some stone carving and while we’ve tried it a little we haven’t done a whole lot with it but it works great. We followed the instructions to let it run for so long before using and make sure you run it at correct speeds but so far, working great!!

I use the 4300 for both lapidary and woodworking. The speed adjustment is easy to use and the changing of bits is seamless and easy

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
