My new replacement dremel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my older dremel that was losing its functionality over a period of 10 years being used roughly. Let’s hope this new one lasts just as long. I preferred a corded model over any cordless due to the greater power and the cordless ones just don’t last long enough in between charging. May work for light duty but certainly not good enuf for heavy duty use.

Replacement for 4200 kit

So far OK. Setting up Flex shaft 225 and the driver cap is missing. Appears the old one will work, may be part of the Flex Shaft. Was unable to register online.

Good for medium use

This newer version doesn't live up to the Dremel quality. I use it to cut strikes into steel door frames. This is the first failure. Three doors and one week it died. This device along with its replacement generate a lot of heat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
