ASUS boards have really evolved over the last few years. I bought the Z90 WiFi board with expectations that it would be easy to set up. The BIOS is greatly improved. The Armoury Crate app greatly simplifies finding the right drivers. I do not plan to use the Aura lighting or the WiFi but I would like to get the WiFi working. So far, the driver seems to install but then nothing. Maybe someday I'll figure that out. I have purchased the add-on card for TPM 2.0 though MS says I could install W11 without it. It's still reassuring to have. I'm building my system in W10 and will take the free upgrade to W11 when I have my hardware all set up. This system may last the rest of my life seeing that I'm 70 years old now. Thanks ASUS!

Install went OK, but it recognizes the 2 hard drives, but does not list either as bootable. What to do?

Dear Jim D.,
Thank you for reaching out.
We do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused if two hardrives you installed are not recognized as bootable. To resolve this, check in the BIOS setup page if one of thease drives was selected as the boot drive and check if the OS was installed in UEFI mode or Legacy BIOS mode. Additionally, check if the preinstalled OS is compatible with the motherboard's chipset and device drivers. Should you need further assistance with the product, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. Or, you are most welcome to call Product Support Hotline at: 1(888) 678-3688. Also, you can chat with an ASUS live support agent from the link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/1135/.

I have used ASUS motherboards for the last 20 years. This one, for some reason decided to kill some internal parts of the motherboard and became corrupted after about a month of light use, no gaming or overclocking. I even upgraded the BIOS and still the same issue. I was using the computer connected to a UPS (always do for all of my computers)

Modern tech, sleek design, proper spaced PCI slots

Great motherboard that provides ports and the appropriate spacing to support 3 GPUs to be attached via PCI. The components and heatsinks all look professional, sleek, and quality made. Has the right amount of modern tech for DDR5, PCI5, M2 drive connections, USB-C, front-back ports, and is all laid out very well for ease of maintenance. Once I had my GPU dual bios switch set correctly, the motherboard fired right up first time. I'm using an Intel i7-12700KF with a massive CoolerMaster heat sink and fan, 32GB DDR5 6000, 1TB M2 (and other backup drives on SATA), and an old PCI3 RX580 in the PCI5 slot (have two more I can plug in when needed). Asus software supporting the motherboard and peripherals are ok - note the AI Suite 3 tool does not work if Memory Integrity is enabled in the Win11 settings.

The motherboard is fairly simple to get everything connected and has a decent amount of features for today’s computing requirements. Wish they would have included the USB-C cable with the motherboard instead of having it as an additional option to purchase.

Motherboard works fine except for wi-fi. Wi-fi is not an option only ethernet.
