Easy to use. Cleans great. Really good quality. I removed tons of pollen, mold, mildew, and dirt from my gutters, patio, patio furniture, and driveway. Being somewhat of a clean freak, I had lots of fun cleaning with this. House looks great! I am very pleased with this purchase.
Just finished power washing the deck. It was a quick and easy job for the Sun Joe. I bought the extra turbo tip, but discovered the 2nd smallest tip that comes with the washer was more than sufficient on my wood deck and actually did a better job. Next up will be cleaning the cement walk.
My camper has been sitting beneath an oak tree for 3 years. You wouldn't believe the tree sap that accumulated in that time. When my wife said she wanted it cleaned I immediately ordered a SPX3000. It cut through the sap with no problems, I'm starting on the house tomorrow.
I did a lot of searching for a power washer...gas or electric. My main concern was durability and design. While I started out to buy a gas washer, I was put off by the noise that everyone mentions. I will use mine quite a bit.....40x30 patio plus a 25x9 patio, porch, driveway and of course cars....and that means my neighbors would quickly have a problem with all the noise. I decided to get an electric one although I had concerns about sufficient power Figured if it couldn't do what I need it would go back to Amazon.
It showed up today so quickly assembled it (very easy and good instructions). I decided to give it a test drive so it was my big patio and concrete/brick wall around it and steps up from the yard. I hadn't touched the patio in about 8 years and it looked it. I live in Michigan so get snow and than lots of dirt and muck. Also gets some moss in the bricks.
I spent about 4 hours playing with the washer and trying out different tips. The patio came out great. While a gas machine might have more power, the Sun Joe was more than enough for anything I can see throwing at it as a homeowner. One custom touch I did....all my garden hoses and accessories use quick connects so I put one on the Sun Joe to allow fast connecting of the hose. Other than that I was happy it had a 35' long power cord. The washers hose is 20' and I guess it would be nice to have a 50' but I will see how this works out. Luckily it is light and easy to move around. . In fact that is another big plus for me. ...it only weights a bit over 30# compared to 80# or more for gas washers. It doesn't take much storage space either. I did read in the reviews that it is important to get the water out of the hose and don't leave the tips on the wand for a long time as they will rust and that will jam the tips.
As one who ALWAYS reads the instructions....there is a cleaning pin taped to the back of the instructions. Some reviews mentioned they use tiny screw driver, drills etc. to clean the tip....guess they didn't read the instructions ;-)
Mine also came with the newer metal connection instead of the plastic one some reviewers had issues with.
Since I have only had it for one day and put 4 hours of hard use on it....I think it will work out fine but if any issues Sun Joe has an excellent warranty. I understand from the reviews they are really customer driven and have excellent support. Hopefully I will never have to use it...but nice to know it is there.
I am giving 4 stars out of 5....not that it isn't a 5 star machine....but I haven't had it long enough to speak to durability but thus far I don't see any issues.
The best part....it is not noisy at all...just a pleasant humming souind....and when idling it makes no noise....I won't have to deal with irate neighbors.
I have put the spx3000 washer through it’s paces. So far everything is just what I expected. Many mixed reviews but everything does. Sometimes I wonder about user ability. I would definitely recommend this washer.
