I was over the hassle and mess of trying to use a gasoline-powered washer. I read several good reviews of this model and it was on sale, so I went for it. It’s perfect for my needs. Compact, lightweight, simple to assemble and use. Does a great job of general cleaning, cleaning my deck, porch, and planters. So happy I bought it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was so anxious to get this Sun Joe 3000 mainly because of the video! Took all the anxiety out of having to deal with putting it together! I'm a 73 year old do it yourselfer widower and it was a snap with that fabulous video!!! Ready to hit it tomorrow!!!
Having issues with the product. When I start spraying especially with the foam cannon it starts bogging down. Don’t know why the pressure is inconsistent. It’s trying to build up pressure at times I’m not sure why. All I can think of is the water faucet I use has a back pressure tip that restricts flow and it’s not giving enough water. Please help!!

Works Okay. Needs Help Sometimes

I do not totally regret purchasing this product. All things considered, it was a fairly reasonable choice. I believe, though, that my expectations were perhaps a little too high. For many things I have tried to use it on, it could not do the job alone, and I had to pre clean with something else first. This included my concrete walkway, my car, my vinyl siding, and my gutters. I had to go out and buy cleaners, brushes, etc., anyway though I thought I wouldn't. The only thing I had noticed that seemed a bit unusual was that it ran faster with a higher pitch sound intially. Then suddenly one day it sounded like it slowed down and has run with a lower pitch sound consistantly. Having used a 1400 psi electric pressure washer, I would say that my SPX3000 performs a little better than that.

Didn't stand the test of Time

I purchased the SPX3000 and it worked well for three years. Very versatile and did a good job on cleaning walkways, decks, siding and stubborn langkin and moss. When storing it for the winter months, I stored in in my garage and made sure to run storage product through the unit and make sure the unit didn't have any water left inside. Today when I start the unit up with the switch on, the unit continue to run as before when the pressure built up. the unit would shut off until you pulled the trigger on the wand. Also when you pull the trigger the spray come out as normal. but then if you let the trigger go on the wand, it still continues to run. When you put the trigger the second time, it's now only half the pressure coming out of the wand. In order for me to get the pressure back, I have to turn the unit off and then back on again. Take the nozzle off, press the trigger for a few seconds, put the nozzle back on then let the pressure build up then press the trigger once more and it now has full pressure. Very Strange. I asked SunJoe Support if they had any ideas about what this could possible causing the problem. They told me to bring it to a dealer to get it serviced. And guess what??? There is no Service Dealer in my area of Boston Massachusetts or around Nashua New Hampshire. If they could diagnose and send me the part which I would pay for, I could easily repair the unit. SunJoe didn't want to diagnose the problem nor did they want to send me a part. Oh Well ..... I guess I'll look for a more reliable pressure washer.
Got the washer early July, didn't have a chance to used it till yesterday. Shipping was fast, the pressure washer work as expected. Had to run a wire from the second floor, I used a 14 gauge 25 ft heavy duty no problems. One problem I encounter was the connector to the hose it start to leak.
