unit works well, good pressure, the only complaint is the constant leak at water input. Twist as you might in the end it ends up leaking. several have mentioned a brass replacement fitting as opposed the to plasic it comes with. I will have to find one now.
Pros: Easy To Use, Compact

SPX3000 Review

Ok, so this unit is awesome in power, cleans very well. Operation is fairly quiet. Powering completely off when you release the trigger is HUGE plus! Light, easy to move around when needed. Plug in power cord is of decent length. Now the cons. The unit having the water inlet in the front and the outlet in the rear makes it hard for dealing with the hoses, tangling and so on. Original hose is only 20' long. would have preferred at least 25 or 30 foot pressure hose. I would have bought the 25' extention hose with the unit had I realized this issue when I purchased it. The spray wand is too short! I am 5' 10" and found myself crouching down to power wash the driveway and am now fighting to find a longer one from another supplier since they only sell one length! BOO! this is a huge problem for me. I found the 15 degree tip works well for almost everything I cleaned, which was house, rinsed off the cars, and power washed the driveway. Overall an excellent unit that is very well worth the price I paid!
Pros: Weight, Low Vibration, Easy To Use, Reduced Noise, Ease Of Assembly
Cons: Water inlet in front, but pressure outlet in back, Wand is too short in length

Snow Joe 2030 GPM TEST SPX3000 no tip .30 sec for 1gal. Soaper .30 sec for 1gal. 40 deg. .51 sec for 1gal. 25 deg. .51 sec for 1gal. 15 deg. .51 sec for 1gal. 0 deg. .51 sec for 1gal. Real life test shows your actually getting 1.176 GPM with the 40, 25, 15, 0, deg. Nozzle's, NOT 1.76 ..If you were to include the soaper tip and no tip test results, you could get closer to the claim of 1.76 gallons per minute. Hey remember they're advertisements for your eyeballs, and your finger to purchase with a click. Test details: Using a sacrificial rag over the nozzle which will have a hole blown through it by the nozzle pressure, inserting that into a shop vac hose, and then going into a funnel, that is going into an empty 1 gallon milk jug container. I was able to get accurate water flow, without all the air flow created from the high-pressure tips. I dare anyone to take the high-pressure tip and stick it into an empty milk jug and pull the trigger, LOL! Test Remarks: I was very surprised when testing higher, and higher pressure tips that the pump was able to maintain the gpm flow exactly, I expected GPM to drop down slightly with each higher pressure tip change test. (Nice Pump) The SPX3000 unit rated pressure is 1450 from page 4 of the user manual. Download the PDF and look for yourself. I need this pressure washer to work with other attachments at rated line pressure & GPM flow. So facts are important, gimmicks are not. I am using a universal wand with universal adapters ( Power Care Gun/Hose 100664072 rated 2000 psi) , to run a karcher 250 surface cleaner. (yellow one, & yellow nozzle tips) I wish this unit would deliver 1.76 GPM, the results could only be even more amazing. .. but, with 1.176 GPM the results are very good. As a result of consumer testing, I believe the public, we will find that all the manufacturers have all tweaked the numbers and facts, so each competitor can look better than the other. LOL. Conclusion: SPX3000 Still best unit. I will highly recommend this unit on it's own merit, it is simply the best electric washer I have used so far, and has a 2 year warranty to back it up, I don't appreciate the deceptive numbers, enough said. Knowing what I know now, and having used it, I would buy it all over again. I am going to update my test results, to also include the line pressure on each tip. Fluid filled pressure gauge with Quick Connect, should be here in about 2 weeks. ...Update 4/5/2014 Plan on Using a Generator? Wattage TEST SPX3000 no tip 850 watts avg. I ordered this online and received it within a few days. It is exactly what I needed and I could not be more pleased. I was able to blast away mold that was growing on the cement tiles on top of my house. It works fantastic and with the long cord and variety of nozzles it made the work much easier. I felt I had excellent control while working off the ground with a high pressure hose. Very satisfied.

I've used this for cleaning a concrete patio and washing a wooden playset. It performs really well. It's powerful, easy to use and not obnoxiously loud. The different tips are great to have and easy to change. Detergent bottles work like they're supposed to. The ONLY downside is the garden hose adapter on the front leaks every time. Twice it's pulled right off. The adapter-to-hose end doesn't leak, it's the adapter-to-pressure washer unit end that leaks. I suspect it has something to do with two flat spots on the metal threads of the unit. Talk to your engineers, gentlemen. That needs to be re-designed. Please note that in spite of the leak, it still does the job. Just make sure it's sitting in an area where leaking water won't hurt anything. Get that fixed and you'll have the best pressure washer for the money out there.
Pros: Easy To Use, Ease Of Assembly, Handling/Manueverability, Features, Weight
Cons: Leaky Front Hose Adapter

Great Power Washer!!!

This is the second Sun Joe we have bought. We tried the first one at our house in Florida and liked it so well, we bought a second one for our homes in Ohio. We own rental properties and are always power washing something. We have a commercial, heavy, bulky, gas Honda power washer and it was to heavy and cumbersome to use. Plus we could not use it inside to power wash basements. So we bought the Sun Joe SPX3000 and it is just as powerful as our commercial gas model, yet light weight and very easy to transport and use. We bought the extension wands too, so we could power wash the second story on our houses. We highly recommend this mighty power washer.

Did what I wanted it to do

I had rented or borrowed gasoline powered washers in the past and wasn't 100% sure about an electric one, even though the reviews promised it would do the job. I started with cleaning a sidewalk that hadn't been cleaned in decades and then moved on to the brick steps leading to the house. I was pleased with the ease of handling and with the cleaning. I moved on to our deck which needed to be washed prior to staining it. Again, the Sun Joe performed impressively. I would recommend it to anyone.
