This is the second Sun Joe we have bought. We tried the first one at our house in Florida and liked it so well, we bought a second one for our homes in Ohio. We own rental properties and are always power washing something. We have a commercial, heavy, bulky, gas Honda power washer and it was to heavy and cumbersome to use. Plus we could not use it inside to power wash basements. So we bought the Sun Joe SPX3000 and it is just as powerful as our commercial gas model, yet light weight and very easy to transport and use. We bought the extension wands too, so we could power wash the second story on our houses. We highly recommend this mighty power washer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this machine several times now, the machine has good (adequate) Pressure. The design is also good with only one issue; you have to hold grip, instead of having a lock-down grip (like gas machines), so as not to be so taxing on long periods of use. I understand the logic, but it would be nice to have both options. Otherwise, Sun Joe spx3000 is a good machine.
I've only used my Sun Joe once but I noticed s few things in that time.
First, the thing is powerful! Using the 40° model, I was able to make part of my cement patio look like new and, I'm confident it could easily blast a hole right through the concrete if ok left it in one spot. Word to the wise, start slow with the nozzles or it will do some damage.
Other thing I noticed is the water supply hose is a HUGE pain to drag around and get coiled back up. It's rigid, tangled easily and doesn't entirely fit on the hook made for coiling it up. I'm sure I'll figure things out a little more with how to maneuver but after one use, I was quite annoyed with the hose and wish I had bought the model with the reel.
Otherwise, I'd highly recommend (again, that's after only one use).
This little machine is perfect size with enough pressure. I wash my 3 vehicles every weekend, used it on my deck, driveway and muddy four wheelers. It handles it with ease. As strong as a gas pressure washer? No, But it has its benefits, weight, size and how quite it is!! If your debating on buying this like I was, Don’t think you will not regret it. Only one small issue I have is the connection where the hose connects, it leaks.
Easy to unbox and assemble. Easy to set up and use. Nice variety of attachments. Solid build. Well priced. I added 25 foot extension hose so I don't have to move unit so often. Works as advertised.
