The dispenser is satisfactory but the tape is thin and breaks easily. You’ll want tape that is at least 2 mil thick. Still it’s a decent package for the price.
The tape dispenser does not cut it without applying much pressure to the point the wrist started to hurt.

i found it very difficult to use and end up using more tape than i really need. and really who wants to waste this expensive costly tape the tape actually sticks to the metal latch. (the worse issue!) you have to baby it roll tape back to not waste extra tape. the tension knob constantly loosens it's also very heavy for a woman to handle maybe i need alot more practice lol. perhaps more practical for commerical larger businesses but not for daily shipping labels

Shoddy tool not worth having

Nothing to commend this Staples dispenser. The frame is off-centre blade protector was broken 1 screw missing handle is too short for a larger 72mm dispenser so it is off-balance. I have another Italian-made one: simple but good quality wasn't too expensive either has worked for years. Staples would do well to follow an example of good design. Keep other brands in stock if you are going to push your own junk. Think like Apple not like a lemon!
Great working finally got a tape dispenser that works

Not worth the effort

It was the only one offered. The little flap that holds the tape in place sticks to the tape causing a jam every time almost without fail of the tape sticking. I am losing productive time and an extra 6" of tape everytime my guy wants to seal a box. That is money out of my pocket.
