As shown in the photo the dispenser roller is secured on only one side. That causes it to twist and bind producing an ear splitting irritating noise while simultaneously barely dispensing the tape. So yeah one star.

I like it but was a little disappointed when I realized that it is double wide. I didn't realize this when I purchased it. But it works & that is ultimately what I need.

I have looked at several staples tape dispensers comments and the majority say there are no instructions on how to load. Can someone at Staples provide instructions? It can't be that hard but it sure appears to be difficult. Or it's just a lousy product.

3" wide tape and hand=dispenser

Been looking for a 3" wide tape and dispenser off and on for quite a while (3-4 months) for taping shipping boxes. This 3" wide tape works so well that now am looking for a desk dispenser for the 3" tape. Been using 2" wide tape for cardboard shipping boxes with hand and desk dispensers but like the 3" more for shipping boxes.

Terrible terrible product

Mine is red but this is the product number. Very difficult to load. There is a brace to keep the tape on the roller that actually sticks to the tape and jams it. Very poor design. It is impossible to use with one hand because you can't get the tape started rolling since it's stuck to the brace.

POOR PRODUCT MAYBE YOU SHOULD SHIP WITH A EASY BUTTON BUYERS COULD USE ONE WITH THIS ITEM!
