I wasn't sure at first when i purchased it if it is sharp enought to punch hole on a cardstock. But it definitely is a good buy for the price. Use it many times and it is still sharp.

Wanted it to cut through paper with ease. It made my hand hurt cutting through five pieces of paper time and time again. Sometimes it wouldn't even go through.

I purchased several of these to use outdoors for my business. These hole punchers work great. My only complaint is that the handles should be rubber coated.

Great for poking hole in paper

This hand-dandy hole puncher will poke a nice little round hole in a piece of paper. Just position the paper between the mouth of the puncher and squeeze the handle. Voila! Where there was once paper there is now a little hole! And the paper that gets punched out is held in a little metal attachment that is easily empties so no more having paper hole puncher bits on the floor. It's a bit stiff and needs oiling.
