It punches holes but not only that it punches round holes the type that if you could dry them you would be labeled either a genius or mentally insane. But that hardly does it justice for the roundness of the holes that it punches. You can punch them once you can punch them twice you can punch them until your hand falls off then switch hands and continue punching. I got mine for .99 at staples and you cant beat it at that price! The quality is very good and it punches nicely. Good buy. Great price!

This one works great it was just what I wanted but I really wish that I had not been so cheap and had sprung for the [$] one that has the rubber handles. That's better.

I liked the fact that paper that was "punched out" stayed in it until you dumped it out. it didn't make a mess!

Not long lasting

This hole punch worked great when I first bought it but after only a few weeks of using it it no longer punches holes unless I twist it around as I'm squeezing. I only used it on index cards and only punched one at a time. I expected it to last longer than a few weeks. I still need to hole punch cards so I will see if Staples has a heavy duty 1-hole punch.
