gets the job done

My wife and I make Christmas ornaments by paper folding then hang the ornaments with yarn. We need a one-hole punch and plastic hole reinforcements to hang the ornaments. This one-hole punch is perfect for the job. I used the previous one for 25 years in my job then gave it to friends for their craft projects so we needed a replacement. It will last a lifetime and is a great value. The same punch can be purchased with plastic or rubber grips for those with hands that hurt. We did not need this feature but it is available.

This hole punch works very well. I have bought fancier models before that just do not function well. What I like best is that you can see where the hole will be made which is important if you are trying to make identical items.

Really a nice product for the amount of $$ spent. Durable thought it would not last punching holes in three index cards but did quite a few and still works..GREAT!

CHEAP AND CHEERFUL BUT DOES THE JOB

THIS IS A SORT OF HARD TO FIND ITEM THAT YOU WILL ONLY PROBABLY USE FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES WHEN YOU WANT JUST ONE HOLE PUNCHED AND 2 OR 3 HOLE MACHINES WON'T WORK TOO WELL WITH DIFFERENT SIZES OR THICKNESS OF PAPER. THE TRAP FOR CATCHING THE PUNCHED HOLES (CHADS)?? IS FINE BUT THE WHOLE THING - PUN INTENDED - FALLS APART WHEN YOU OPEN THE LIP. THAT'S THE BAD NEWS. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT IT'S A SIMPLE CONSTRUCTION WITH A LEAF TYPE SPRING AND YOU CAN POP IN BACK INTO PLACE WITHOUT LOSING TOO MUCH BLOOD OR THE SKIN OFF YOUR FINGER NAILS - JOKING OF COURSE BUT IT IS THE 31ST OCTOBER AFTER HALL.....
