The hole punch could not punch it's way out of a paper bag. I tried it on a very thin piece of cardboard and it didn't even make a dent. You get what you pay for. I should have bought a more expensive model.

I needed a basic hole punch and chose this one because it was $1.00 less than another on the rack. Given that a hole punch is not high tech device I chose to go low price. The alignment of the punch and the hole do not always match requiring the user to realign the two leaving a document with a started hole. If you don't place the punch back in the exact position you will get an eccentric hole that is somewhat weaker. Pay the extra buck for the other one unless you don't care.
