Does not punch the 5 sheets it says it w

I bought this to use in my business to punch holes in some entry forms to attach to a container. When I tried to punch the number of sheets it is supposed to punch it would not cut through them. I finally had to punch one sheet t a time. This was very time consuming for me as a business person. The next time I go to make a similar purchase I will test the product before I leave the store to make sure the product will do the job I am purchasing it to purchase. If it had at least punched three pages I would have given it a better rating.

It does cut nice holes and it has a slot that catches your hole cuttings so they don't go flying all over the place but I could not cut 5 sheets easily. The best I could manage was 4. It says 5 but maybe someone with stronger hands could do it but I could not. Otherwise works just fine.

This was just what I needed to punch a single hole in the corner of business cards I am using as price/name tags on some clothing for sale. Easily goes through the card stock and easier than trying to line it up in my 3 whole punch (also from Staples).

The quality is not very good. I bought three for a game. It only needs to punch a hole in an index card and most of the time it either rips it or only cuts part way.

staples one-hole paper punch

another of the specific items I went into staples to buy was a one-hole paper punch. since I am a 'quality over price' shopper I am well-pleased to be able to buy a store brand punch. in most things I have found that the staples brand is equal to name brand items and where they didn't 'come up to snuff' the item was close enough and where they weren't staples has always been happy to refund my purchase price. I nearly always am able to recommend staples brand to my friends and am happy to do so...good competitive prices and quality.

Great Punch

I have a three hole punch and thought it was going to work for our project. Come to find out the thing is OLD and the punches were worn out. Not wanting to pay for another 3 hole punch we decided to get this little goodie. It worked out very well for what we were doing. Having a single punch for craft projects is simply a must. Staples has a great price and is worth every cent. The grip is comfortable. It can handle think paper we were punching a corrugated paper so it was a little thicker and tougher than your normal paper. Still this punch stood up to the job making things very easy for us.

Great for poking hole in paper

This hand-dandy hole puncher will poke a nice little round hole in a piece of paper. Just position the paper between the mouth of the puncher and squeeze the handle. Voila! Where there was once paper there is now a little hole! And the paper that gets punched out is held in a little metal attachment that is easily empties so no more having paper hole puncher bits on the floor. It's a bit stiff and needs oiling.
