I purchased these to block out the near by conversations. They did not disappoint. I work in a conversation heavy area and can't concentration due to my adhd. These were on point.

Good sound but

Best sound I've heard in a headphone. Bought for working out but doesn't stay on head if you bend over or let's say lay down on a bench. One annoying thing is to get the greatest sound you have to join their music streaming service .

Noise reduction

when I'm mowing the lawn I can hear my loud lawn mover more than the music I like my headphones {Sony) noise canceling But I can't figure out how come my lawn mover noise keeps being unfiltered

Thank you for the purchase! We do apologize for the inconvenience. Noise-canceling technology can't completely isolate sound due to the air trapped between your audio device and the eardrum. The noise canceling effect may not be pronounced in a tranquil environment, or some sounds may be heard. If there is little ambient noise, it is advisable not to switch on the NC function, as it needs ambient input to function optimally. Noise canceling is awesome!

I purchased these headphones to use on calls in a Data Center environment. The noise canceling was awesome. So was the build and ease of use. On music the sound was flat that was fine for me because I was using it for calls. The microphone was not good. I had to talk fairly loud for people to hear me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
