Wow. Having apple AirPods and than these. Night and day. Sony blows it out of the water with the sound quality and the ability to make these stick in your ear. I use them to ride my mountain bike up and downhill and they have yet to fall out. The adjustable sound etc is amazing. Also the noise cancellation and ambient sound is a must!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Kept falling out... AGAIN. NEED XL EARTIPS
on December 28, 2020
Posted by: LoverofAudio04
I’m not even sure how many pairs of true wireless earbuds I have tested out at this point. All I know is that I’ve tried JBL, Sony, and Jabra, and ALL of them kept falling out of my ears. I had high hopes for these ones However, once again, the eartips were not big enough. And yes, I tried large ones... After all of the different consumers who say that the earbuds keep falling out of their ears, you would think that companies would catch on by now, but they haven’t. All companies make are S, M, and L eartips. For a lot of people, like me, that’s not enough! I am literally an XL size eartip away from having the earbuds fit. So companies, MAKE XL EARTIPS! Not everyone has small to normal size ears!

Hi LoverofAudio04,

Thank you for choosing and purchasing our Sony WF-SP800N Truly Wireless Sports In-Ear Noise Canceling Headphones.

We value your opinion and we would like to apologize if our product did not meet your expectations. The WF-SP800N comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. It is recommended to choose the size of earbuds and arc supporters that results in the tightest seal. (Trying the earbud sizes in order from larger to smaller.) A tighter seal may also be achieved by lightly pulling up on the top of the ear and twisting the headset as you place it in your ear. To achieve maximum stability, select the size of arc supporter that fits comfortably and snugly inside your ear grooves.

We will have your feedback regarding the eartips sizes noted as we always strive to make this a better experience. In any case that you need our assistance, please follow the instruction below on how to contact us.

This is why I stick with Sony

Sony has done it again. This is why I stick with Sony and will continue into to do so. The sound is amazing compared to others in its price range. I immediately noticed a difference when I tried these compared to another very popular sport brand. The app is everything I could ask for and the ability to adjust and customize the controls is perfect. Sony always exceeds where others fall short. The interchangeable ear pieces allow for the best fit possible. Noise cancellation is great, of course you could pay more for top tier noise cancellation, but these are enough. Sony's products always speak for themselves but I thought I'd at least share my thought on these. I am extremely happy with these.

Sony has reached the sound perfection limits
on September 16, 2020

Earphones have been getting closer and closer to the realm of perfection for the last two years. Sony has lead that charge with its headphone and earphone lineup. The earphones more than any other have dominated in my opinon with its wf lineup. With the latest wf-sp800n earphone they perfect a prior design that only needed little tweaks in their wf-1000 earphones. Sony added water resistant, made them fit and stay even during workouts, and finally they pulled back just enough on the ANC to allow it to be effective still but allow even more insturment separation with means now that they are now perfect(as long as you use the right tip..dont use the tips that are too tight inside your ear. Yes it creates more bass but it will become bloated and it might make your head hurt do to the pressure it might make). So with perfection comes sadness. Now there is nothing more to add or subtracted to make earphones sound better anymore. We finally have the absolute limits reached without the law of diminishing returns. While this makes me happy to have, its a little like seeing your movie series finally come to an end. It was great and it will go down as one of the best ever but you sad that there not be another. I'm sure sony will produce something after this but I have no hope that it will be any better in sound.

The best money I’ve ever spent!

These are the best headphones I’ve ever had! The noise canceling is excellent and the sound quality is well worth it! The only downside is that some older Bluetooth devices may have some issues with connectivity. But any Bluetooth 5.0 is totally fine.

Excellent sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These earbuds have an amazing quality sound! With the noise cancelling feature on, I could not hear my kids yelling at one another in the background; which is amazing since that has never happened before. The quality is not like most headphones where the sounds seems far away. With these headphones, it’s almost like a personal concert just for you! The earbuds do come with other sizes in the box, this was a concern for me since I have very small ears. The only aspect I didn’t truly love with this product, would be the charging apparatus. It lights up red when it’s charging, but when you close the lid only the case is lit up, and then seconds later nothing is illuminated. The product seems to be true to the battery life description, but it is hard to tell since I do use them for 9 hours at a time.
I have not tested the water resistance feature yet. The product seems to keep most dust from sticking to it, but I can always see a very light film which is to be expected and is not a deal breaker.
This is overall a great product!

Hi Ajf96,

Thank you for the positive feedback. You can check the remaining battery charge of the rechargeable batteries of the headset and the charging case. When you put on the headset. When you remove the headset from the charging case and put the headset on both ears, the voice guidance indicating the remaining battery charge of the headset can be heard via the left and right units of the headset respectively.

“Battery about XX %” (The “XX” value indicates the approximate remaining charge.)

“Battery fully charged”

The remaining battery charge indicated by the voice guidance may differ from the actual remaining charge in some cases. Please use it as a rough estimate.

Pretty Good
on October 28, 2020
Posted by: Anonymous
I have these for a month now and they are pretty good. The eq is nice as you can set the sound to whatever you want it to be. The noise cancelling is not as good as over the ear headphones but it does filter out a lot of low noise. High pitched noises can still be heard but it is muffled more

Hi AlexC,

We glad you like the equalizer function of the headphones for adjusting the sound quality to your needs.

Your feedback about the noise canceling function is greatly appreciated. The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. When you feel the noise canceling function and low-frequency sound are insufficient, change the earbuds to ones that feel more sealed. When changing the earbuds, try the earbud sizes in order from the larger sizes to the smaller sizes. The size of the left and right earbuds may be different. Check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off. Check the setting of the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient.

Thanks for sharing your review and for choosing Sony.

~Ralph
