Since the inception of Sony what haven’t they done to make a mark in Pop-Culture, Movies, Music, Photography and many more fields requiring top of the line innovations for all hobbies alike. I would absolutely love to be a tester of products for Sony. They produce one of the absolute best Smart Phones but largely Ignored because of Apple. I know I can change that and it does start with the PS5. Sony products prove time and time again their superiority over others, but “fan boys” feel a sense of being faithful. Let’s change that!

Great headphones with long battery

These headphones sound great and stay in my ear. I had to switch to the big earfins, and the small eartips. The battery life lasts a while.
I have two issues with these headphones.
The first is the case takes a while to turn off, and thus the battery in the case always depletes pretty fast. I wish the app was able to turn off the case for these.
The second is there is no find my headphone option. As these are truly wireless headphones, I wish they had this feature, as a ton of headphones have this feature.

Hi oasisblue, Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your WF-SP800N. Please follow the steps below if the effect of noise canceling is not sufficient.
Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
When you feel the noise canceling function and low frequency sound are insufficient, change the earbuds to ones that feel more sealed.
When changing the earbuds, try the earbud sizes in order from the larger sizes to the smaller sizes.
The size of the left and right earbuds may be different.
Adjust the headset into a comfortable position.
The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
Check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off.
Check the setting of the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient.

Quality ear phones; Great compromise to WF-1000XM3

Bought these to complement my Sony WH1000XM3 over the ear NC headphones which are WONDERFUL. I considered the WF-1000XM3, the true in ear companion of the above mentioned headphones, however, I wanted to use my in ear set to run and do other outdoor activities. I read several reviews detailing the fragility of the WF-1000XM3s specifically when it comes to any type of moisture. So I opted for these, the WF-SP800N. A sufficient substitution for my purposes. I still got the deep bass sound, noise canceling, ambient controls as well as a bit more peace of mind if I got caught out in the rain on a run or hike. The fit is OK. I am still figuring out which ear tip and wing combo gives me the most snug fit to maximize sound quality and minimize outside noise. There are plenty of options to choose from to find your fit (2 wing sizes and 5 ear tip sizes). If you're looking for a quality set of in ear phones that you can be active in, I'd recommend these. If you're looking for more of a high end/fancy look and feel I'd say go with the WF-1000XM3s.

Right on the mark with everything but comfort

I've had these for over a month now and use them every day while running, doing a home workout, or just sitting in my office doing work. The features are a bit limited but I've grown used to them. For example, I wish there was a way to have volume controls while at the same time able to fast forward/rewind songs. My biggest complaint is the ear fatigue I feel after wearing them for long periods of time. The silicone ear tips aren't as comfortable as some competitors (like Bose) but they're fine for now.

The sound quality is undeniably good. I've not had the same connection issues as some other reviewers on this site.
I'll frame my only (minor) issue as a question: Does Sony have smaller rubber "arcs" for sale? I'm referring to the rubber piece that's supposed to give the earbuds support within your ear. The WF-SP800N comes with Medium and Large sizes. Is there any way to acquire a Small version of this piece?

Comfortable fit great noise canceling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love these ear buds. They come with multiple sized Cushions for a comfortable fit. They hooked up to my cell phone immediately I had no issues. I use these headphones for music and personal calls. When I have them in they cancel out most of the background noise so if somebody wants to talk to me while i have them in I have to turn the volume down this is a major plus. I have owned many different sets of ear buds and all have been super sensitive. If you accidentally bump your ear they seem to disconnect or shut off but not with the Sony set. I love that its not super sensitive. Overall i love these.

You got Bose by the toes!

As an ex-Bose NC700 owner, I can resoundingly say this is a significant enough of an upgrade in nearly all areas. The sound quality destroys the Bose. ANC is on-par but outstrips Bose in feature sets. Comfort dominates the NC700 bc it doesn’t pinch your head or ears, especially if you wear glasses or sunnies. One area it needs to improve on is the self-voice that’s heard from the headphones as it’s currently very muffled and unnatural. Bose did this right by having the option to tweak how much one’s own voice can be heard over a call.
