Not Worth the Money

I bought these headsets because they are supposed to be top end and also can be used for phone calls. I am on the phone all day due to my job. My colleagues always say I seem to be in a tunnel when these headsets are on. I would not recommend anyone buy these if they plan to use them for voice calls. Also the touch controls don't always work. Especially the volume. Not what I would have expected from Sony. Very Disappointed. On top of this, Best Buy has a no return policy on these headsets. So, I couldn't even return them. My guess is they know the issues and want to block people from returning them.

Keeps voices in the noise

We expected that headphones would cancel all noises. But in reality with most noise cancelation settings it cancels all notices but voices. So, you still can hear voices from TV or screams of our daughter when she played on computer. I am not satisfied with these headphones.

Very good pair of headphones, and worth the price. It does take a few day to get used to the touch controls though

Doesn’t get much better than this

These pretty much nail everything right on the head. The previous versions were pretty much near perfect save for the multi device support and call quality, and these improved on both of those aspects. The noise cancelling is second to none, and the sound quality is about as good as it gets for wireless headphones. Would highly recommend anyone!

Love them!! Everything is just perfect about them. I just realised that they can be paired to only 2 devices at a time so that was a bummer since I use my iphone, iPad and my MacBook altogether when I’m working. But love the overall experience. Just go for them without second thoughts!

I have portable air conditioner and many air purifiers running....and hear nothing withe headphones!!!! I use mostly headphones mostly for TV and the sound is amazing. Sound options are great, bass and voice I use the most. Sounds heard with headphones not heard with sound bar unless very loud. Re-Watching movies again like they were new.

Normally, not a fan of over the ear headphones, but Sony made me a believer! I'm not a tech kind of guy so I'm not leaving a review other than to say I love these headphones and would definitely recommend them!

Problematic

For a pair of headphones with good sound quality, they have a few fundamental design problems.
First, the noise cancellation produces a white noise when turned on. It is noticable whenever sound gets low or its periodically silent, like podcasts, movies, lectures... anything that isn't a constant stream of noise; and this is coming from someone with tinnitus.
Two, the ear padding is shallow causing your ear to physically touch the inner ear piece. Your ear will start to ache over time. This will only get worse as the padding compresses over time and more of your ear makes contact.
And three, it does not let your ear breath. Your ear will start to sweat. You will need to periodically remove these to let your ear cool off.
Is a slightly better sound quality worth having worse sound cancellation with a build that makes you feel more uncomfortable the longer you wear it? Not for me. If I could return these, I would.
