Best Headphones Ever!

These headphones are fantastic. I did a lot of research on headphones before settling on the XM4’s. Bass is phenomenal, makes your brain rattle. The app is decent, and noise cancelling is pretty impressive. Seem less connectivity. I prefer these over the Bose 700 personally, And AirPod Pro’s, but everyone is different. I originally was in the market for earbuds, but no matter the brand, they all kind of suck in my opinion. The XM4’s offer seamless integration with my iPhone, and being able to connect to my PC at the same time is awesome. PC gaming sounds pretty impressive. Build quality is decent as well, very comfortable for long sessions, didn’t find I was over heating. No weird squeaking sounds. There are so many features built into these headphones, that I would be writing a novel if I were to talk about them all. Price point can be a little bit of a deterrent, but you definitely get what you pay for. Been using these for a couple weeks now, and have yet to run into any issues. If your looking for a solid set of headphones, and have a few bucks to burn, I’d recommend grabbing these headphones, you won’t be disappointed, unless you’re an audiophile, then nothing will make you happy, and you probably won’t want these. Lol

Life Saving Noise Cancelling

I live in a basement apartment below a loud family, with a piano player, big dog, and overall just loud people. The headphones connect seamlessly via Bluetooth to all devices, it connects to 2 at a time and switches easily based on what device you are using at the moment (detects automatically). But it also remembers all of the paired devices and connects to them all easily. I use these to work, read, and watch tv and it saves me from getting frustrated at noise from upstairs. It lets me drown out unwanted noise and relax.
I can't recommend these enough, I would pay $500 again in a hearbeat for these.

I’ve been a sound addict for years on end now, and I’ve been searching for the best sound, features, and overall greatness a pair of headphones have to offer. I think I’ve finally found them. The Sony WH-1000XM4’s are the most unreal pair of headphones I’ve ever owned. The features, sound and noise cancellation is phenomenal. They still take my breath away every time I listen to them. Seriously, I often find myself forgetting to breath. I can’t describe what the experience is like with words. I’m blown away by these amazing pair of headphones and I recommend them to anyone with the budget! You will not regret it! Also, here’s a side note, I bought these at best buy for one reason and one reason only, their customer service. They are just as unreal as these headphones. I’ve been shopping with them forever and they are who I go to when I’m looking for any kind of tech. They have insane customer service and the experience is unforgettable, I always leave their store smiling. So thank you BestBuy, your name truly suits you, and too anyone still reading this, seriously just by them already... Peace!

Exceptional and Powerful Sound!

The XM4 headphones are the best on the market in my opinion. I used to use Blue headphones which are exceptional too. But needed wireless for the new generation iPads. The active noise cancelling is beyond belief. The sound is perfect, fulsome and with the app you can use the equalizer to adjust the sound to your liking. Can also adjust bass. They are comfortable even after hours. Good for gaming too with no lag. Bluetooth set up was easy. I’ve used Bose also and these are better.

Not compatible with desktop/PC!

I purchased these in October 2020 to use at work to block out sound from other colleagues. I recently switched jobs and have a desktop computer and have now discovered that these headphones are NOT compatible with desktops, even if the desktop is Bluetooth enabled.
There is NO mention of these headphones not being compatible with a desktop on Sony or Best Buy's website. How would a customer ever know this? Since I purchased these over 30 days ago, I cannot return them. These headphones are totally useless to me now. I did a lot of research on which headphones to buy. I feel Sony (and retailers such as Best Buy) didn't do their due diligence in communicating the product's limitations with their customers.
From Best Buy's website: "Bluetooth technology seamlessly pairs with multiple devices and allows you to rock out without wires." How would a customer know this doesn't apply to a desktop/PC?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
