Static in the right ear regardless of use scenario

Verified Purchase:Yes
WH-1000XM4 ver. 2.0.6. Annoying static in right ear starts after ~15 minutes use. Noise canceling On/Off, 1 device or 2, with audio or without. Phone call and video chat quality is good on my end. No one has complained about my audio quality, so I guess that is good. It is just this ANNOYING static.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Big time performance!!!

Got these to compliment my Beats Powerbeats Pro which were giving me connection problems with my Galaxy Note 10+. Once you customize the sound settings, they hit FREAKING HARD!!! Noise cancelation is not amazing but they're not supposed to. Should be priced a little cheaper to be more competitive and should definitely include more accessories and wireless charging. Blessings

Constant hiss + ANC makes no difference

Bought these for the sport fit - and as I'm quite happy with the WH-1000xm3 I thought these might be a comparatively good product.
But unfortunately, there is a constant hiss in the earbuds (ANC on/off makes no difference), which is constantly noticeable. Plus the ANC makes zero difference, when it's turned on the hiss is so bad that it's actually better to just not have ANC on and put the volume up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

XM4 FTW! The New Kings

Wow Just Wow, Sony Finally Did It. You know its a good headset when you just have to buy two pairs, the only other headphone I got twice was the HD650. Not even the QC35, nor the 700's made it to the double list, the XM3 got purchased and those I returned the same day due to dummy sound and that dummy cloth touching your ear inside the ear cups. This here, truly is one of the best things of 2020. Good Job Sony! Good Job!

An extremely satisfying Sony product that with truly helpful features. The noise cancelling improved over the last generation and the sound signature is more balanced and refined in the tuning of the driver. Pairs seamlessly with my Xperia 1 II.

Last time, about 10 yrs ago, I had a Sennheiser, which didn't really quite work in terms of ANC. And I got a second one with bluetooth, which was about the same, on top of that, the earpad peeled really badly. I would never buy a senh again. Until recently I started to have some bad guests in and out causing lots of noises, I started to do a lot of research and eventually bought XM4. Im very happy. Besides the bad guests, I live like under the flight path that I hear airplanes like every 5 min. But with XM4 on, I just never hear it again. Thanks to Sony. I appreciate the new tech.

Incredible

I've owned models from Bose and Plantronics... and the noise canceling is incredible. Really impressed. I like the hand gesture controls. The automatic pause of music with talking is 'ehh' for my use but might work great for others. The microphone works very well and is above par with other headsets with this design. I've worn them for 3-4 hours straight with no hot spots even with my glasses on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product.... But
