Better than Bose or Beats

I bought these about 2 months ago for working in my lab so I could move around without being tethered by a headphone cable. For reference, I work in a robotics lab that's usually filled with the sound of yelling or mini-battle bots fights (so essentially, so loud I can't hear myself think sometimes).
Not only are these headphones the best noise-canceling products I own, but they're also so incredibly comfortable. I've worn these for up to 12 hours straight while studying for midterms/finals and not once did I get the usual headphone headache. The battery life is superb, connecting them to my devices is a breeze, and the sound is beautiful. I never write reviews so the fact that I'm taking time to do this should be a testament to how good these headphones are. If you're on the fence about getting them- do it. You'll thank yourself later.

Great Sound!

Bought these a few weeks ago to replace my old Apple AirPods that no longer held a charge. 1st it took me a while to get used to the size of these compared to the AirPods but the "hook" that "grabs" your ear to keep them in place works amazing (you have to play with the different ear plugs to find the perfect fit). After a while I got used to the fit and great for my workouts. They sound amazing & the noise cancelling works great as well. Great battery life. I was also surprised how much customization there is with the downloadable app. I highly recommend these.

Upgrade from 1000x M2

I love these headphones, they were a necessary upgrade from my M2's which have a cracked headband on both sides. I'm not an audiophile so you can take this with a grain of salt, but listening to my music using these headphones was incredible. I use a custom EQ with the bass turned up to the max with my Tidal HIFI subscription and my music sounds amazing. It was definitely a better sound experience than my M2's which could tend to get a little muddy when the bass is turned up to high levels.
I like the fit and overall design of these headphones. They are definitely lighter than the M2's, I could feel the difference immediately, and they are very comfortable on my head. I wore them for a straight 12 hours with no pain/irritation to my ears. The material feels like it will be more sturdy than the M2's, but I'll have to wait and see about that.
This was a nice upgrade in features. I've used the speak to chat, and it works as it says it does. I'll be listening to my music and when my son comes over to talk, as soon as I say the first word out of my mouth the ambient sound is activated and then maybe 10-15 seconds after the conversation is over, the music or whatever I'm listening to automatically starts playing again. This feature will be clutch when I'm back in the office for work. The Noise cancelling is amazing, no surprise there. I can now connect to two devices at the same time, but switching between them isn't always as seamless as I would like it to be. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the devices I'm connected to, but this feature can be a little buggy at times.
There is one feature in the app that Sony took away with this upgrade in headphones, and that is the Surround VPT. I loved using this feature with my M2's. I was a little disappointed when I realized this was no longer available in the app. I hope SONY can put this feature back with an upgrade in the near future.
I don't love the call quality. Of course it's an upgrade for me, but it's still not there yet, but It's not a deal breaker for me.
Overall, these headphones are almost perfect for me. SONY just keeps knocking it out of the park with these 1000x headphones. If they can give us the Surround VPT back, make some improvements to the call quality, and these will be the perfect earphones.
I'm very happy with my purchase (which i made with my own money) and I would enthusiastically recommend these to anyone!

Nice headphones

The not so good:
The touch controls are okay. I had a little trouble with them picking up what I was trying to do.
The "speak to hear outside noise" feature often picks up a cough.
The comfort is so-so. I don't think I would use these for very long sessions.

The bad:
These headphones are completely unusable on Windows 10 with a bluetooth connection. My drivers are up to date but I get constant stuttering and skips made me resort to using the cord which defeats the wireless purpose.
Overall:
They're a good pair of headphones and would be 5/5 if not for the Windows 10 issues.

Good quality and great fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to purchase these because of the sporty look and waterproof features. These turned out to be much better than I’d thought! The fit is perfect for ppl who don’t like traditional buds that tend to slip out. Love how they’re waterproof so I can use on my runs while sweating. Battery life is very good. For one hour runs, I’ve been able to use it 5-6 times before recharging. The only thing is the sound quality isn’t as clear as in-ear buds, but still really good compared to other brands. I received this at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

Great sound!

I bought these roughly a month ago, and they’re awesome. They stay in my ears better than anything else I’ve used, and haven’t fallen out once. That said, it took a while to find the right fit of fins and tips for my ears, but once I did the noise isolation and bass response were off the charts. There is a tiny bit of white noise that you can here in a perfectly quiet environment but these are workout earbuds, not designed for perfectly quiet places. The clarity and overall sound quality are honestly the biggest wins for me. Unfortunately I can’t say anything about 360 Audio because I don’t use any streaming services that are compatible with it. It took me a good minute to get the hang of the touch controls, but they work great and are very useful. Also, for the first couple days I had the they were uncomfortable after a little while but that went away when I found the right fit.

What I've been waiting for

Easy to pair, fit great, no connectivity issues, water and dust resistant, buds with ANC that last up to 9 hours & 13 hours without!? I almost bought the 1st Sony true wireless earbuds with ANC but the battery life wasn't what I needed and there was no water resistance. So glad I waited!
