dissapointed, battery malfunctioned in 6 months

I had high expectations for this product and then one day it stopped charging. The battery malfunctioned in less than 6 months! I tried 6 different chargers, including the one it came with, to no avail!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Here are a few simple steps you can try:
1. Check for any visible damage or debris in the charging port.
2. Try charging the headphones using a different USB port or wall adapter, even if you’ve already tried other chargers.
3. Check if the charging indicator light turns on when you plug them in. If it doesn’t, leave them connected for about 30 minutes and see if the light comes on.
4. If possible, reset your headphones. To do this, press and hold the power and custom buttons at the same time while charging for about 7 seconds.
5. After resetting, try charging them again.
If you’ve tried these steps and your headphones still won’t charge, please contact our support team at https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US&category=headphones

My Favorite Purchase Ever!!

these are genuinely the best purchase i have ever made. as a college student, the noise cancelling is amazing for drowning out unwanted noise while studying or even just for a kitchen dance party. they have superior sound quality and i love them so dearly!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Sound but irritates my ear

I brought this a week ago and i like the sound but these ear-fins irritates my ear a lot.
Why there is no small fins I see only M and L :(

Good, potentially great with firmware improvements

I upgraded from wired Bose QC25 headphones. Thus far I have found the microphones to be not quite as good as Bose, but the audio quality is exceptional. My main issue right now is that the dual bluetooth is causing problems. For example, I am often on a video conference and then I get a phone call. The headphone switches to the call before I even answer it. And then it completely drops the bluetooth on my computer. I have to power the headphones off and then back on to rejoin my conference. This needs to be fixed. So far the ambient control and speed to chat are more distracting than helpful so I turned them off. Pausing when I take off the headphones is nice, as are the touch controls on the headphones. My only other complaint is that the headband pushed down a bit too hard on my bald head. The Bose were more comfortable because of that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These headphones could be absolutely amazing. They are very comfy and the sound quality is very good and they are almost every way better than the previous XM3:s. BUT! when connecting these to my LG TV with Bluetooth, how can there be latency when XM3:s didn't have any latency problems, especially at this high price point that should be unacceptable. I would have given these full 5 stars but without the codecs (aptX and aptX HD) that would have made watching movies possible as well and made this product an overall best headphones out there, I just can't. It's so huge step back in that department and just because of that I can't say they are the best. For listening to music these are absolute beasts but for watching movies wirelessly these are no good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The audio playback on this unit may be delayed from that on the transmitting device, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology. Missing Surround (VPT)) settings

Without the VPT surrounds settings, in specific the concert hall setting, these headphones sound terrible for classical music. Had the WX-1000MX2 and the VPT settings made classical music sound great. Just recently upgraded to the MX4 and was very disappointed to see that setting removed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried a number of other earbuds and before getting these had zero luck in finding a pair that were up to my challenges. I have a very active lifestyle - beside my 'normal' everyday activities I practice yoga (including hot yoga) and bike - as in really bike. 20 miles a day minimum sun, rain or snow. I listen to my playlists, fav podcasts but because I have "weird" ear canals I had yet to find in ear earbuds that would stay in during activity, much less provide great sound and noise cancelling. These earbuds do the job, they do better than the job because they greatly exceed any expectations. For example - this past weekend I did a century ride with my bike club. 100 miles, 10 hours later the music I listened to thru these earbuds kept me entertained and motivated because:
A. theses wonderfully lightweight earbuds stayed in my 'weird' ear canals the entire time and I could not tell I was wearing them. OVer every bump and pothole they remained in place.
B. Their charge lasted all day. I was done with the ride and wiped out, the battery on these was not.
C. Sound quality is excellent, noise cancelling is excellent. Not that I would ever promote total noise cancelling when riding a bike on a road, the noise canceling did help eliminate hearing other riders chatter allowing me to focus.
D. Styling is great, they are unobtrusive. The carrying case is small and well designed.
I have also worn these during hot yoga-sweating and pretzel poses did not knock them out of my ears. End of session they were still snug, and again, listening to MY personal mix with noise cancelling helped me go through my flow without distractions..
With fall coming up and competitive MTB and cross track rides/races coming up I look forward to wearing these to block out noise and help me focus during training. I have already worn them on some 15 mile MTB training rides over some pretty tough terrain and they performed great (and stayed in my ears)
This is a really great product and I am recommending my fellow bikers try them out.
